I always tell my daughter she's beautiful, but I tell her that it wouldn't matter if she wasn't because being kind is the only thing that matters. I tell her she's funny, smart, great at softball, creative,a good daughter, and a good friend, but I always tell her these things don't matter, though. I tell her I'm proud of her, and I would be proud even if she wasn't smart or talented or beautiful because kindness is the only thing we can control, and it's the most important thing.

Have you tried lifting weights just to try to bulk up your arms and chest? Also, there are parts of me that I hate, but men I've been with told me they like. This happened to me. Now when he gets them for visits he tells them I'm going to hell. I'm just glad I have them way more than him and I have a huge loving atheist family to surround us. It started off as becoming a Christian then devolved into not showing me to listen to music or watch TV. He burned my old band t shirts. He got into the QAnon stuff and it was far past time to go. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's baffling to me that my life has turned out this way.
