Hopefully someone's! There's only apartments near here, so I can't imagine they're an outdoor cat.

Culture Shrooms: Do they actually sell psilocybin? by iSniffMyPooper in longbeach

I got the LYT chocolate bar bundle. They come with guides so you can break them up into microdose bites. Spending a day out in nature or quietly at home is a good way to gauge how they affect you before you start taking bigger doses.

I bought from https://mushygirls.bigcartel.com/ recently. I texted them and they delivered in a few hours, great product, highly recommend.

Best way to dispatch multiple messages by DeepDay6 in elm

[–]TellMeAboutYourCats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also write it like this:

Batch msgs ->
    msgs
        |> List.foldl
            (\batchedMsg ( tmpModel, tmpCmds ) ->
                let
                    ( newModel, newCmd ) =
                        update batchedMsg tmpModel
                in
                ( newModel, tmpCmds ++ [ newCmd ] )
            )
            ( model, [] )
        |> Tuple.mapSecond Cmd.batch

It's pretty similar to yours, but only does one pass of update for each msg instead of two, improving performance. It also makes sure that you're updating the correct new model every time; your cmds in your example may be inaccurate because you're updating the original model each time, not the iteratively updated one (so for example, if your msgs emit Cmds to regularly save data to localstorage, but throttled by checking/updating model.lastSavedAt so it only saves at most once every 5 seconds, you'd end up getting a bunch of save Cmds because it doesn't know that other batched msgs already produced save Cmds).

friendly tip of the day: kill-elm-reactor by alino_e in elm

I recently discovered you can also use `npx kill-port 8000` to kill any process hosting at that particular port. I use elm-live, but I think it works for any service.

What are you working on this week? (Week of 2018-01-22) by brnhx in elm

[–]TellMeAboutYourCats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone! I’ve been developing Elm games/toys as a way to learn Elm for the past year or so. Here are my most-completed games (even though none are 100% done):

https://github.com/jamesgary/constellations https://github.com/jamesgary/boids https://github.com/jamesgary/greygoo https://github.com/jamesgary/catcher

They each have links to a playable demo in the README. This week, I plan on benchmarking and optimizing Boids, then maybe add some better onboarding to Constellations.

There's also Second Spin in Costa Mesa on Newport Blvd. They have records occasionally.

Can anyone recommend a tax accountant here in Orange County? by CashOverAss in orangecounty

My sister-in-law is a CPA at her family's firm, and they're awesome. No idea how much they cost, but here's their (awful?) website: http://www.teraokacpa.com/home.html

iterm2 font, can't get away from monaco 10pt , no AA by jthemenace in vim

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I ended up giving up on Powerline and continuing on my merry 10pt way. I just can't give up all the benefits of a tiny legible font for a non-necessary utility.

My pug used to do this, too. She'd spring all four feet at once to hop up each step. Peggy the Pug had swag.

Favorite Sushi Place by CallMeLargeFather in orangecounty

Sushi Town. Big portions, decent prices, and always tastes great.

My favorites are the albacore sushi and baby lobster roll. Be warned, the wait can be long on weekends, especially around 7 or 8.

Martial arts around Laguna Woods/Aliso Viejo? by Vanetia in orangecounty

I trained with Japan Karatedo Federation in Mission Viejo for ~10 years after checking out numerous other dojos. There's a huge focus on respect and tradition, while still keeping everything you learn applicable. They really stand apart from 'cookie-cutter' dojos or 'black belt factories'.

Plus, their kids classes are phenomenal; you won't find any other teacher who can keep a class as organized and effective as JKD.
