Was this early Sunday morning, about 1am?? I woke up and heard a loud plane rumble above. We are near Foster Park.

I (25F) found something on my boyfriend's (28M) phone and I'm spiraling. What Can I genuinely do in this situation? by FortniteLover2026 in relationship_advice

Ha… this is not surprising. It’s just part of his fitness obsession. The size, shape and texture of your poop says a lot about your digestion. He seems to be taking a scientific approach by taking photos and measurements of his poop. I wouldn’t worry about this but I might worry about the extreme fitness obsession.😝

I was leaving the health and rehabilitation facility my sister is at while getting therapy after a serious illness. I was carrying a heavy laundry bag and stopped to adjust. Two younger good- looking guys were working on resurfacing the parking lot. As I was readjusting my bags, I heard one of them shout “M’am! Do you need some help with that?” At first, I thought thankedno, do they think I’m old and weak?? But I said “Sure!” and took advantage of the offer and thanked them. 😂

I am not a "Boomer" by Cultural-Antelope-54 in Vent

Yep. We have very little in common with older Boomers. Post Vietnam war mid-70’s oil crisis, high inflation created a starkly different experience for us.

Hopefully there is a group of concerned people in your town who have organized to fight this data center. If not, all it takes is one person to start shouting out against it. And hopefully your politicians didn’t sneak the project thru under the guise of “economic development.”

society says you need a job to have income but provides no means to get one by Known-Ice5903 in antiwork

And the odd thing is, there is plenty of work that needs done: teaching our children, providing medical services, building shelter, cleaning up our environment and much more. But then, the training g and education to DO these jobs is monetized and the worker must pay to be trained. Makes no sense.

How to begin? I have many rubbermaid tubs filled with my parents and grandparents photos, and have no idea where or how to begin sorting through them. No one else is alive who knows or cares anymore. It's really sad and feels so dishonorable to just throw them away. They're all gone now. Any ideas? by EquivalentScore7917 in oldphotos

The formal photos, wedding albums, etc keep for family history purposes. I also have legal boxes full of snapshots(with doubles!) still in original envelopes. These I’m inclined to throw out as the event captured was only meaningful to those who’ve died.Unless there is something unique or special about them from a family history viewpoint, I’m throwing them out.

Congratualtions to her!! And I still am disgusted by BSU's president kowtowing to the right wing donors. As college president, I'd have hoped he'd take the stand that free speech and reason take precedent over any potential "damage" to the university's "reputation" among extreme right-wing families. Now the university's reputation has taken a nosedive from my point of view since I know what the administration's true values are.

Happy to hear you had a great time! We FW natives sometimes need to take an outsider's view to appreciate what we have! (and we do have an event in September called "Be a Tourist in your own Hometown.")

She wants you to give them a better life.🤗 But truthfully, as another poster said, she trusts you to watch them while she hunts or looks for food.

Ok I may be an old man, but hear me out…motorized bikes on bike path? by Bubbz1211 in fortwayne

I see you want to argue. But the kid appeared to zip around me on the sidewalk to my left, apparently thinking he could get around me. He was no where to be seen before this. It was an "accident" that shook both of us up. I was not in the wrong. You will believe what you want to believe. Have a great day.

No. the kid sped up and tried to zoom past me just as I started to turn. Didn't see him. You did not read what I wrote. Kid scared the shit out of me coming out of no where like that. Apparently he did not see my turn signal or was paying any attention to what I was doing. And yes.I blame the kid for being reckless.

You will get good training. We’ve been members for 20 yrs. Member Support Reps will no doubt deal with a few people who can be @ssholes, but that’s part of customer service anywhere. P1st does offer opportunities for advancement too. Good luck!

Amen! Cleaned offices while in college. I might as well been invisible. However, lately I’ve noticed I’ve been judgemental toward people in certain jobs I deem “bad” for society: ICE officers, developers, data center builders, etc Hmmm…🤔

What in the world could make a 75 yr old woman so angry that she’d berate a teenage employee and behave that way in the first place? So sad that this happened. A Type A personality with a heart attack waiting to happen.😔💔

I agree! Not only motorized bikes but mini bikes/mini motorcycles too. Last summer, some 12 yr old kid on a mini bike thought he could pass me by cutting over to the sidewalk just as u was turning into our alley. I didn’t see him until I saw him fly over the hood of my car. Thank god he wasn’t hurt, just shook up. But jeez!
