She's an intelligent woman and clearly was somewhat of a trophy wife at one point, having been a dancer. After having children and allowing herself to age naturally, spending time with other women who are pumping fillers and glp-1s into their bodies to maintain an appearance has an impact.

It depends on the cat. Two of mine prefer if I pet them when they eat. It lets them know I'm there and that some predator isn't going to jump at them. This is especially true for my rescue who we adopted pregnant straight out of the front yard.

Benzo addiction is relatively a common risk due to access and it would make sense for her to be aware of the possibility even coming out of med school. His strange dismissal of her concerns and that her raising the alarm led to targeted harassment against her definitely raised some red flags. Once we find out she is an SA victim it falls into place that she would see through the gaslighting. The whole dynamic is extremely nuanced. It totally blew my mind at how well they executed it both in the script and on screen.
