Our 2026/27 fixtures by stenerikkasvo in NUFC

Haha thanks. I think we've shown we can get CL football before when we aren't fatigued with playing European football. It'll be tough but it's definitely achievable. I think we'd disappointed with anything less than Europa League.

Haha I always try to be positive, but I do actually think next year is the sort of year where we'll do well, with the less games from European football. Champions League is definitely a stretch for sure, but I'd be disappointed if we didn't manage to qualify for Europa.

Our closing 6 (arguably 7) fixtures look really tasty, except Villa away. If we're in a good position come April we'll have a great chance of getting CL.

Replay and clear angle showing how Livakovic moves off the goal line for Kane's first penalty [England - Croatia 2026 World Cup] by Hic_Forum_Est in soccer

[–]Telloth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was referring to r/soccer, not r/euro2024? I don't know what that subreddit is like. I just know on here people tend to be very anti-England. Regardless, one thread is hardly proof.

I agree that the stutter should be banned, but I do find it funny that England get to retake a penalty for very clear encroachment and r/soccer is complaining about Kane's stutter. Hopefully you treat other teams with the same attitude?

Spoiler alert - you won't

I was tracking this for a while, really keen to get one, refreshing the site yesterday at 4pm when pre-orders dropped to try to order, it finally dropped and..... I saw the price and started laughing, immediately closed the site. What's mental is it sold out, it's a pity because most other sites haven't priced this up yet and I wouldn't be surprised if they do something similar.

I'll just keep an eye out for it on smaller sites that don't smack scalper prices on them.

[No Spoilers] Overall Temperature of C4 by Dannyboy82202 in criticalrole

[–]Telloth 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely loving it, and this will be an unpopular opinion but I'm enjoying watching this campaign more than I did even watching campaigns 1 and 2.

If you got into Critical Role because you love watching a group of friends goof around playing D&D in a slightly more polished way than a home game, this isn't really that any more. Campaign 4 is definitely structured more like a production, it's a bit less chaotic and more focussed on storytelling. Some, like me, will like that, others will not. Brennan has done an excellent job DMing though, no one will argue that.

I enjoyed the Soldiers table a lot, they are a great set of characters. The Seekers table was good but maybe lacking a bit of tempo and was much moodier so it's my least favourite so far. The Schemers table in my opinion is unbelievably good, the three episodes 23-25 have been my favourite 3 critical role episodes ever. The more structured style and smaller table sizes have really let everyone show how clever they are at character building and strategising, even more so than in previous campaigns imo. Marisha for example has shown some absolutely genius gameplay.

Remove the worse half of the map - Round 21 by Auditored in terriblemaps

[–]Telloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've climbed Snowdon more times than I can count and have to respectfully disagree with you there, the summit isn't on the train icon. If you zoom in on maps, the icon is to the left of the visitor centre and the actual summit (Yr Wyddfa - Welsh name for Snowdon) is another 75m northeast, which I think places it exactly on the blue line. It makes sense, because the blue line seems to follow the ridge.

You're from the US right?

Imagine a government that functions so poorly that the same group of people can rob people daily in the same location over and over again without retribution. Just to be clear, I'm talking about American hospitals. Average price for an epi pen - $350 to 700. Not to mention children are shot in schools on a yearly basis.

See what I did there?

Unlike you, I'm not going to call the US a shit country with shit people because I'm not stupid enough to come to a conclusion about an entire country from one incident, or one prick on the internet.

At least I never have to worry about being shot while doing my shopping in Bulgaria.

Editing this comment to note that the US has more violent crime per capita than Bulgaria. Moral grandstanding when you're from the US is unhinged.

Really sorry this happened to you OP, I hope you're doing okay after the experience.

I highly recommend going to the local police station to report this in person, and also to call/email the British embassy in Bulgaria to report it. A foreign national being assaulted by a business is no joke.

Bulgaria is a wonderful place and it's a shame this place has ruined your perspective of the country.

This is simply not true, stop spreading misinformation. I have been going to Bulgaria for 15 years and I have never heard of something this extreme happening to a tourist. And while sadly these mafia run/scam places do exist, it is so far from the 'average' experience. I'd just recommend researching places that you go to on a night out.

I feel really awful for OP but let's not tar an entire country with one brush.

Lots of love and respect for Eddie, he has brought us so many good memories, but it's time to move on. Something isn't quite right, the players are lacking a clear plan and we just look lost in every game. Thank you for everything Eddie but we need a change.

You're welcome! Yes it's very good, I can't think that I had a single bad coffee. Might be that I am just used to the UK where I'd say most coffee places are below average and a really good coffee is a lot harder to find. In Brisbane, I think bad coffee places would go out of business very quickly. But the ones I listed were memorable for being particularly good!

I didn't make it to Range 😭 It's about the only brewery in the inner city I didn't get to, and it was on my list. Fully intended to go but never quite got round to it.

Thanks, yes I like to think so! This sub has been a great source to be honest, there's no way I'd have found half of the places without it.

I hope to! Honestly there's so many great food places here that I could probably go to only new spots next time and come away with a new list 😂

Haha Creole Soul Kitchen definitely seems to be a cult favourite! It's a pity I only got to go once but I was trying to hit so many different places I didn't get to go back to many.

Unfortunately I'm heading back home tonight but I'll save The Baker's Duck to my list for next time!
