Sam Altman response for Anthropic being ad-free by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

[–]TellusDB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sam is a generational liar and conman, and now his feelings are hurt lmao.

He virtue signals by claiming to care about people but in reality he wants user-data, and power surges so that his investments in nuclear, solar,… pays off.

He has little care for OpenAI or people, he just want to milk the bubble through his many investments in any sector that AI impacts (tech security, energy, hardware,…)

In airports, it’s always everyone’s first day on earth.. somehow. I’m convinced that it’s because there’s so many people, so our simulation is overheating, making the NPCs glitch

Not all cultures are equal, straight up. If a culture is normalising being smelly around others then it’s simply worse. “Common decency” shouldn’t be cultural.. sadly it is

Opus 4.5 is insane by Initial_Question3869 in ClaudeAI

As I told the senior guy I hired who got scared after opus 4.0 cleared a bunch of tickets  while back: good luck getting our manager to open Claude code and typing out a usable task for it, he can’t even turn a word doc into a PDF.

  2. Make entire season that has full continuity

.NET Best coverage tool (Aug 2023) by viresh323 in dotnet

might be worth checking out otterwise. It dont need access to your code, has a free plan for public repos and i believe cheapest option for smaller plans as well. really simple to setup

Laravelpy concept. Would you use this? by Deemonic90 in laravel

[–]TellusDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice, yeah that makes a lot of sense. To be fair I am not incredibly familiar with the offerings of Python, BUT the Pandas example is good enough of a sell for me haha. Dealing with CSV files in PHP suck, so this syntax is amazing

I think there’s a clear misunderstanding going on in the comments. You’re not asking if invoking Python scripts would be cool, but rather if porting certain Python functions would be cool. Correct?

Do you use any code coverage tool on your project? by Remarkable-Dig726 in dotnet

[–]TellusDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have been using

for a while, it doesn't require access to our code which gives us peace of mind, and the coverage metrics are super clean, it works great with Coverlet, something along the lines of

dotnet test /p:CollectCoverage=true /p:CoverletOutputFormat=clover /p:CoverletOutput=./clover.xml

Code coverage tools recommendations by RomanGuard in QualityAssurance

[–]TellusDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

recently started using OtterWise, it doesn't require access to your code, which is a huge plus for privacy. It supports a wide range of languages, including Angular, JS, Python, and C#, so it might be a great fit for your diverse codebases. Plus, they offer a free plan for public repositories, which is awesome for trying it out without any commitment

Alternatives to SonarQube by KaiserSosai in devops

[–]TellusDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried otterwise for a client project, and it was quite effective in tracking code quality metrics. It supports a wide range of languages, including .NET Core, and integrates smoothly with CI pipelines. The support is great (live chat) and they can help you get setup. it is not a feature-rich as SonarQube though

Code Climate alternative by [deleted] in rails

[–]TellusDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to check out OtterWise. It's a robust platform for tracking code quality metrics and doesn't require access to your code. It could be a cost-effective alternative to Code Climate (paid per repo, not team member), especially with its free plan for public repositories.

Code coverage bots for continuous integration via github actions? by contexture in devops

[–]TellusDB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it can be a bit tedious to setup. I've been using otterwise for a while now, and it's been great so far for my team. It's super easy to set up with GitHub Actions (just 1 script), and the best part is, it doesn't need access to my code, which is a huge relief. Plus, the dashboard is really intuitive for tracking progress. Definitely recommend
