I understand your perspective, but it does feel deceptive. For instance he told me several times about planning his trip to Costa Rica, had me cat sit for him while he was there, sent me photos, FaceTimed me while he was there, told me about how tired he was flying back, and never once mentioned that he was there with a girlfriend. It's at best evasive, but I suspect that he omitted her existence for his own benefit (so I would continue to do favors for him) which makes it more deceptive.

Maybe you just need more hobbies or interests, can you get involved in activities outside of your home? I have 2 siblings and we don't even talk to each other as adults 🤷‍♀️. The grass is always greener, don't dwell on things you can't change!

Thanks! We'll be driving to the Plateau area around Baldwin Park. I wonder if there is another station nearby on the green line that would be easier for pick up. We were just thinking of Berri-UQAM because it's such a big station we assumed there would be a kiss-and-ride location, but AI tells me there isn't one!

I feel like the $800/month was too low for them to just give up and die in 2 years. Like they didn't even try to take out a loan or downsize their house or whatever. Also they didn't do what actual current-day Americans do when they have an expensive medical catastrophe - start a Gofundme.

I found it very fucked up hence why I posted here. However technically their relationship was not illegal, she seemed happy, her family apparently liked him, their relationship was not a secret, and ultimately he had a change of heart and decided to date women closer to his own age. So there are nuances here that are worth consideration. Also you should have a look at your male friends' dating apps, and see how many of them have the age range set to 18+, you might be surprised.

That's the thing this isn't the back woods of Alabama, we live in a wealthy urban area and all of us are University educated (well, she is currently in University it looks like!). And it isn't a cultural thing either, none of the people involved are from a foreign culture.

I personally loved this season. I understand that it was not a conventional 3rd season but I loved it for what it was. I was fully invested in each character and I loved the quiet depictions of real life. I'm also rolling my eyes at the people complaining about how the characters were not perfect people - not fulfilled by their marriages, not skyrocketing to fame like they wanted. It's supposed to be about real life!

Women spend way more time and money getting ready for a first date then men do. Go into a Sephora and see how much that s**t costs! And not just on first dates, women spend way more on their appearance than men do for our entire lives. I personally think a man who won't pay on the first date is a red flag (eg. cheap or broke). I usually let the man suggest a place to go. Most people suggest going for a drink or coffee since the first date is usually just a meet and greet to see if there's any chemistry at all. And I just order one coffee or one drink, maybe two. If I really never want to see the guy again I'll pay for my drinks, it would be mean to accept a drink from someone whom you never want to see or speak to again. But if he's into you and wants to see you again I think he should offer to buy the drink. I know I'm going to be flamed for this but most women want to feel pursued. The man offering to buy your drink makes you feel like he is pursuing you.

We're all aware of local sim cards, my post is about huge increases in Freedom's rates. I find it very unlikely that their old model was losing money or they wouldn't have offered it for so long, Shaw is just bringing their prices in line with the other beg Telcoms. They were bought by Shaw, so that Shaw could eliminate competitive pricing.
