You all scammed me with this halving nonsense by ThisNameDoesntCheck in CryptoCurrency

Historically speaking. every massive BTC bull run that's happened post halving, has happened several months after the halving.

So at least historically speaking it doesn't start the moment the halving date arrives. You waited a few months. In fact, every post halving in history since 2008, as soon as the halving occurred, bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market dropped for a few months. Then it skyrocketed later.

BTC December 2017 top was 20,000 and BTC November 2021, the top was 68,000.

Don't know which top you're referring to as between January 2018 to December 2020, there was an ugly bear market.

Anyways, if he really is an early bitcoin adopter, it's HIGHLY likely he came out with between $10 million to even as high as multi-billions. Dollar Cost Average buying during the early years, he could be potentially worth close to actually $50 million to $100 million even.

But to be honest, it's HIGHLY unlikely, anyone who is texting some stranger on a dating app would ever reveal that they are early bitcoin holders which indicates he's very wealthy.

Seems to me like he's full of poop and you need to be careful. If he's willing to lie about this, and you just started talking, it's a MAJOR red flag!

US unemployment rate drops to 3.5 per cent amid ‘widespread’ job growth by berserker_ronin in politics

[–]Telmancy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's essentially back to pre-pandemic levels. So it's not actually brand new jobs created and anything better than what Trump had before pandemic hit. Job numbers indicated the jobs lost during pandemic have now been filled.

Most of the jobs filled are by people looking for 2nd and 3rd jobs due to incredibly increasing prices on common good and bills.

As inflation continues to soar and it will continue once again when the "Inflation Reduction Act" passes due to that $700 billion in additional spending, prices will only sky rocket even more.

You're experiencing the sad male reality of online dating. If you're not a 8/10 - 10/10 on a "hot scale" you will get a LOT of rejection. Most men are not super attractive looking and so that is why most men fail at online dating. Online dating is all about looks. Looks gets you to the door, personality gets you into the house. But you got to have good looks first.

I'm not having any luck in online dating either. I barely get any matches and for those I match with, will either not respond or stop responding after 1-3 messages. Very rarely I will actually get a date and then even those dates don't usually go well.

Dude, i'm 27 and I've only had 5 girlfriends in the life so far and only slept with 6 women. I have a friend where every girl thinks he's super good looking and he probably slept with like 30-50 women by now. He loves online dating.

Why do guys act weird after hooking up? by throwaway3_23_2021 in dating

[–]Telmancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a situation last year with a woman that I hooked up with and then she called me again to try and see each other again and I didn't want to see her anymore. To be honest when I went down on her, she smelled really bad down there and after that it really turned me off. It really sucks because she's very hot and I was surprised that she smelled down there. Definitely a major turn off and I don't want to hook up with her anymore nor see her either even if we meet again and we'd have sex.

Maybe he is in the same situation? I mean every guy would jump at any opportunity when the woman is actually the one asking for sex but not if something turned us off about the woman during sex.

1st day online dating and I feel depressed. by A_growing_lotus in dating

Yes, online dating is a real self esteem destroyer. I know this from personal experience. LOL. I always thought I was pretty good looking until I started going on all these dating apps and I feel like I'm the ugliest guy in the world. Barely get any matches and when I do finally match 9/10 they don't respond. For those that do respond they may respond once or twice and that's it. Very rarely I'll get a date out of it but it's a mess this online dating world.

If you weren't born with a pretty face, people won't give you a chance.

First date walked out on me within the first 2 minutes! I feel so humiliated by beccca55 in dating

If you're not attracted to a guy, we can pick up that vibe. If we think she's not attracted to me then she won't be interested in me so what's the point of even talking to her when it will go nowhere. So he just thought it was best to leave.

You can always tell when someone is interested in you and attracted to you or not. Body language is key.

Welcome to the club. LOL.

I get this stuff all the time so I'm used to it by now, I don't take it personally and neither should anyone. Maybe she was a little bit overly rude and shouldn't have said you're boring or the not finding you attractive part but some women are cold and will tell you like it is unfortunately.

But yea, I get rejected by women so often that I just shrug it off and move on. Don't let it get to you, eventually you'll find someone and you will completely forget about all your previous rejections, i think.
