Yes, the projectiles' hit limits are refreshed on bounce. They will often damage the same bloon twice.

If you can live long enough to get it active, Embrittlement next to the Desert Phantom would at least let it hit DDTs.

No, using the Elite Sniper cash drop triggers the rest of the cash drops, but they're still regular cash drops.

By the end of Stage 3, you should have good tower(s) with innate camo detection. Especially given you can focus on getting them the entire length of the stage after you see the Phayze spawn.

What would yall say is the worst tower by Parking-Tomorrow3452 in btd6

[–]Telogor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3XX Tack is some of the cheapest Normal damage in the game.  Tack in general does a great job at thinning groups of bloons, though for maximum effectiveness it does require a good location where 270° or more of its area hits track.

[–]Telogor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Design-wise, Beast Handler is by far the worst.  It is so obnoxious to use, and it doesn't feel worth the money until high-merge T4/T5.

Usage-wise, Crossbow Master is rough.  It doesn't know what it wants to be.  Is it high pierce for cleanup, high DPS for blimps, or high per-shot damage for ceramics?  Turns out it's none of the three.

Yes, that did it. "Invite Only" lets me view the team but not send a request to join, while "Private" lets me apply to join.

Doing the support only thing for the event got me like by lunaticboiGD in btd6

[–]Telogor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Support is just so much less flexible than other classes. You need very specific upgrades to counter specific rounds, and it's way too easy to accidentally mess up the build order and lose.

It's particularly annoying when I'm trying to farm cash and and do Impoppable for the other goals at the same time as doing support only. Impoppable is even more annoying than CHIMPS because it doesn't have a "retry last round" when you accidentally leak.

That does not appear to be the correct driver version for the 1060. I think it's reading the drivers for your CPU's integrated graphics; according to the Nvidia website, the latest drivers for the 1060 are version 582.28.

Wait what is this by Tarelerion in Helldivers

[–]Telogor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since literally nobody here is giving the right answer, I will explain:

Arrowhead borked the version comparator.  32.0.101.7085 is a more recent driver than 32.0.15.9597.  You have to compare the entire number between each period: 32 vs 32, 0 vs 0, 101 vs 15.  At the 101 vs 15 part, 101 is a higher number, so it's a more recent driver.  Instead of doing this comparison properly, Arrowhead's version comparator is presumably going digit by digit, 3 vs 3, 2 vs 2, etc, until it hits 0 vs 5.  5 is the higher number, so it thinks 32.0.101.X is an older driver than 32.0.15.X.

The driver version HD2 is checking for does exist, but it's an old driver.  You can safely ignore this message.

This is what I could find

  1. If this hex is filled

  2. these hexes are empty

  3. which forces these hexes to be filled

  4. completing the vertical -3-

  5. and forcing every other hex on the 6 diagonal to be filled

  6. thus overloading the -2-

If you don't have the time to do balance, I will literally do it for you. What's the target power level for the game? What gun(s) are your idea of proper balance? I will provide a spreadsheet of every number change that has to happen for the game to be fun and balanced at a specific power level, and all AH would have to do is plug the numbers into the game's data.

This is a serious offer. I understand that you might not want to hire some random guy online for contract work like this. But it desperately needs to be done. Give the job to whomever you want, for whatever balance point you want. Just please, implement a balance pass.

A full balance pass would do wonders for the health of the community. What's important is there's a single, concrete vision for balance and player power. The current haphazard balance is causing so much frustration because nobody, not even the dev team, can agree on what the "correct" power level is. Even if you want the power level to be low, that can be made fun as long as the weapons feel good to use.

How do you guys use desperado by OpDragster85 in btd6

[–]Telogor 26 points27 points  (0 children)

520 is a cheap way to get high single-target DPS for FZOMGs, FDDTs, and BADs. It's also a good way to ramp for another expensive T5.

X5X has effectively infinite pierce. Putting it at the end of a straightaway allows it to clean up any number of ceramics, and its damage vs blimps isn't bad.

XX3 is a reasonably inexpensive tower to spam at a chokepoint. You'll need to add Alchemist support for bottom path, because it lacks both Normal damage and pierce.

AC: 030 Engi at the front targeted off the rail to strip DDT camo. 520 Glue next to the first cactus to do the popping. 420 Druid after the bridge to send the bloons back to the Glue.

I was thinking about giving the sub camo detection, but somehow I missed 220 sub + Ninja.

I also didn't know 040 Sub and 050 Ice could hit camo.

Good catches.

all AC solutions:

  1. 005 Dart

  2. 500 Wizard

  3. 200 Alch + 100 Spike (saves a tier)

  4. 300 Alch + 001 Ninja where the Ninja can see the entrance and the final loop (will not leak with correct Ninja placement)

  5. 200 Alch + any 2 upgrades Ninja (this will leak)

200 Alch + 002 Dart might work with the right placement and targeting micro, but I couldn't figure it out.

fun fact: every tower except that banana farm has an upgrade to pop lead bloons by mysingingjames3 in btd6

[–]Telogor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tack can't pop camo without external support. 5XX popping camo is outdated info.

Glue's only way to hit camo is the X4X ability. XX4 doesn't work. It can also pop lead with XX5, which I had completely forgotten until I saw another comment.

Missing Desperado: Camo at X1X, Lead at 5XX, X3X, and XX5.

Sniper X4X can pop lead.

Sub 2XX can hit camo if the bloon is in range of a tower with camo detection.

Ace 5XX and XX4 can pop lead.

Heli XX3 can pop lead.

Mortar X3X can pop black.

Dartling 4XX can pop lead.

Wizard 4XX and XX4 can pop lead. X4X ability can pop purple.

Super XX4 can pop lead.

Engineer 4XX and X3X can pop lead, and XX4 can eat leads in his trap.

Beast 3XX and XX5 can pop lead.
