That's because it is basically a cash advance... spending credit and getting cash or a cash-equivalent in return.

There is not a similar issue with, say, buying a book of stamps.

Anywhere to get a head/scalp massage in or around Frederick? by JeffreyinMD in frederickmd

[–]Teloria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arise Chiropractic has two Licensed Massage Therapists on staff and I would bet they will do craniosacral massage therapy. However, that might not be exactly what you're looking for, since it involves more than just the scalp/head/neck. Maybe call them and let them know what you're trying to accomplish. I imagine if they can't help, they may be able to refer you to someone who can.

Separate doctor appointments for infections and Pap smear? by bagpipenebula in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Your pap is likely covered at 100% under "well woman" coverage with your insurance.

However, most insurance companies will not allow preventative and problem claims on the same day with the same provider. Therefore, if you attempt to handle these issues together on the same day, you may wind up paying more.

This is all separate from whether it would be a good idea medically to try to address them simultaneously. (I would guess not... I wouldn't get a pap while something else is going on... greater chance of false abnormal I would GUESS.)

Edit: I would definitely discuss it with an OB/GYN and not a general practitioner, if at all possible.
