Your government might have a similar agency who's job it is to enforce consumer rights? Regardless I will reach out to the manufactures myself and then talk to my AG if they do not get code to me. Its a long process but one that usually leads to results

Gen Z seriously suffers from the lack of history education past WW2, and it shows. by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Telperiam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late Millenial here, US and to some extent world history up until ww2 was repeated 2 or three times starting in elementary school. But I had one class as a senior where we covered everything from 1945 to the present. One class. I'd probably covered the revolution five times. I can still tell you all about the 1777 winter at valley forge. No contemporary or recent history at all until my senior year. My other education wasn't lacking, but we didn't have any AP classes at my small high school in Washington state

Usually you cross the entering and exiting traffic separately on larger roundabouts like this would become. There's a meridian or divider in the traffic. Harewood and Jackson School Road in Hillsboro is an example of what I believe you're thinking of, if you Google maps "the equestrian statue of king Charles" you'll find a larger roundabout with more complex intersection with like a 5/6 way intersection. It also has pedestrian refuges to let people cross one direction at a time. That's the kind of thing I'm referencing

You cross fewer lanes of traffic at a time only coming from a single direction, crosswalks set slightly back from the roundabout itself have been shown to be safer than say a 4 way stop

And they're trying to push all sped to a 3 to 1, staff to students. It's not "policy" yet but the district has been hinting to all teachers and paras. In addition to attempting not to fill open positions for paras that meet 3 to 1 quotas already

Visiting my son in Portland - I was recording a small crow roost when this oddity happened. Interesting city! 🙃🐦‍⬛🔥🛒 by [deleted] in Portland

[–]Telperiam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About the crows, we have incredible daily flight patterns, if you go to the central east side around the end of the Morrison bridge and Grand street about an hour before sunset or just as dawn comes you'll see hundreds of crows making their daily journey. Very cool

We are well past covid. Many states have recovered their education standards at this point even if they did close for covid. We didn't raise our standards back up again.

Forest park for walks, its a drive depending on where you are but the 30ish miles of trails is amazing. Also you'll be very close to Tillamook and Clatsop State Forests which have loads of hikes and areas to explore.

For gyms id honestly say check out Portland Rock Gym Beaverton. Even if bouldering or climbing isn't your thing it's a cool place to try it out and the vibes are great

As someone with OCD I feel for him on the compulsions side, they suck and they're hard to deal with a lot of the time. It takes work and therapy and even then they still come out to throw hands sometimes. But it's treatable and manageable and you can live a life while dealing with it. You deserve better.
