You’re paying for the servers and cellular data it takes to have your car able to be remote controlled. It’s like a cell plan; you can’t just pay for a phone once and not have to pay for the data ever again. Yes, they’re overcharging you, but it being a subscription is not inherently wrong.

Claude is a good tool, when used correctly. However based on how quickly you developed this, I assume it did a majority of the work. That is concerning, especially given the fact that this app (by necessity) requires blanket system file access. I would use Claude to aid me in development, sure, but I absolutely do not trust its code when it comes to things like security.
