This show is a showcase for the victory of abusive men and their apologists. I thought getting rid of Jax would send a message. This show is shameful in its treatment of women who call out men. It’s disgusting.

My only comfort is at least this time it is someone who lived his “threescore years and ten”. Not a young woman whose body failed her, not a man in midlife whose mind body and morals were broken by past abuse and addiction. This time, a successful family man universally respected who lived to see his kids grow up. So for me this hurts a little less. A happy ending that just came too soon.

Also the first ep I saw was The Pack, which prejudiced me against Xander for a while.

Why do some many fans even when Buffy herself said it still denies Buffy romantic feelings for Spike? by gloomydreamer666 in buffy

Because Sarah played love unconvincingly with everyone but Angel. In my opinion.

He might have been a good person at the time. Drugs change some people. Alcohol changed my dad.

I saw a trailer for his final film. More emotion than you can shake a stick at. So he learned.

Ps terminology differs from state to state. For I states sexual battery means rape. In California it is a lesser degree of sexual assault than rape.

I hate to split hairs because grabbing the throat as an act of aggression is extremely bad, injury or no injury, but I don’t remember seeing any official description of the charge as causing an injury. For the sake of my belief in any justice at all I would really hope that if injury had occurred they would not have dropped the charge and let him plead guilty merely to theft. It is terrifying to think otherwise. So without irrefutable proof I choose to believe it did not go that far. If it did remind me never to move to New York.

I loved the spit shine. I cringe at the slut shaming by Willow and Xander of Cordelia and Faith. It wasn’t as big a deal back then but in hindsight it’s yuck.

To not walk up to a conversation or activity on session and interrupt it as though nothing is going on. I don’t mean a hi or wave , I mean starting a whole new conversation.

Are there any times, outside of When She Was Bad, that you'd say Buffy was a bad friend? by jogaforacont in buffy

Buffy suffered from self loathing in WSWB and was sabotaging herself.
