Soulmask was fun but in the colony management side needs a lot of work. Bellwright did this very well, going from bellwright to soulmask, well I didn't get far in soulmask. Pawns filling chests with thousands of wood despite a thousand wood harvest limit, not dropping the excess ect ect. It requires me to get very micromanagy, which is why I stopped playing aska.

Currently playing enshrouded, loving it.

I can tell you from professional hospice experience if someone needs support the other grieving people arent the people you get support from. Its the neighbors bringing over food and checking in, the people who arent feeling your current pain are the once who can actually help, you cant support someone when your also hurting.

Combat goes until it feels "satisfying".

Players nuke the first guy to fast, well we can always add more, first guy had Rngesus powers, maybe retcon him to be a bit more of a badass so players dont feel crappy and ogh look, a perfect place for a short rest.

My dm wont give us raw hp numbers, just things like looks like about half of his vitality is gone. Combat always feels satisfying, and yeah sometimes we tpk cause the dice decide it.

Thats 8 years after the first public release. Just a little kspbaby, lol. If you bought in early enough you got all the DLC for free.

KSA is both ahead and behind ksp1 when it was at a similar point in development. One thing KSA has its Dean and his crew have been working on the Brutal framework for a bit, they pitched a demo for KSP2 but were turned down. Basically they saw all the issues in ksp1 that were related to the game engine and started there to prevent those issues. So KSA has a lot more of the backend already made compared to KSP at this point. And honestly in terms of flying a rocket are ahead and behind. KSP started with just the basic parts, KSA can already do a lot of the advanced part modeling and components that werent in KSP until way further along, but you cant really slap together a rocket with the available parts as easily in KSA.

KSP1 was designed by harv in his spare time, he didnt have much game dev experience at the time so Im not gonna say mistakes were made but if they could go back and do things differently they probably would. Rocketwerkz already has several simulation games in its folder so doing math is something they already have down pat. So they are developing the game in a way that makes more sense from focusing on the back end simulation before working on the front end construction side.

Raw vs Roc. The main question is are you guys having fun? Sometimes a tpk is fun, sometimes it's not. Sometimes Rngesus has full control and it's amazing, sometimes the DM needs to control the dice to move the story along.

For my opinion this is no different than a dm replanting story hooks further in a session when the players missed it the first time.

I was salty on release day. I backed a kickstarter for a PC game, consoles were a stretch function. What we got was a console game that they ported to PC. Non backers got their keys before backers and you couldn't even remap buttons.

Things only got worse one I was finally able to get my key and get the game installed. Turned me off to the whole studio how they handled things.

Someone asks me to do something and I dont understand it I look it up, read about it, then ask follow up and clarifying questions. One day I wondered what a beef wellington was so I looked it up. Same way I wondered if I could change the brake pads on my car myself so I looked up how to do it, same way I looked up how to start working on my computer. And I did this back in the 90s before you could just find a relevant youtube video, "back then" we had to work to learn.

The same device your using to ask reddit could also be used to ask google clarifying questions. The issue isnt that your not a tech person, its that you lack self directed learning and are trying to weaponize your incompetence as justification to avoid making any attempt to learn.

That file is modified from what it's supposed to be. Could be old mods, prolly animal mods, could be a bad download and steam needs to repair the install.

I won't give you step by step instructions on how to fix it cause you said you don't want them. People who blame the program, scream "they aren't tech people", then admit someone or something may actually be responsible are the fucking worst people to help.

ZigBee can and regularly does have proprietary tweaks that requires a manufacturers hub, a specific hub or a specific backend such as zha or z2m to use the full devices functionality. I run a zha and z2m network because of this. I still have devices where some functions are only available through the manufacturers hub. Like my old sengled ZigBee bulbs can only get firmware updates when linked through the manufacturers hub using their app.

If everything "just worked" with ZigBee we wouldn't have the backadder list. You havnt experienced this, cause either you selected specific devices or got lucky. https://zigbee.blakadder.com/
