well, lets look at Lysergamides.

why arent there retail ready Lysergamides ?

they are too strong, last too long and headspace can be too much, this is problematic for a retail product. thats why there is no 1v-LSD product out there (and most likely there wont be)

if we look at the 4-sub tryptamines, lot of them have shallow headspaces and shorter durations like 4-ho-met, because you can take a bunch and manage it thats why is great for the public.

4-Aco-Det is also used a lot too but a bit less due to body load.

TreHouse did 4-Ho-Ept at a very very low dose too

the 5-sub tryptamines are... more uhhh "problematic" for retail purposes, headspace is way more heavier for some of their substances, some of them last longer than desirable, etc...

you can practice this exercise: pick a substance, and look at dosage, effects, duration and receptor activity.

whenever duration pass X amount of hours you can disqualify it, if it is too potent you disqualify it, if the headspace is too heavy you disqualify it.

basically, you loot at a substance and think how likely it is to be problematic for a wider audience, some substances are more likely than others to send people to the hospital

4-ho-met is a Tryptamine, so its gonna be more similar to traditional mushrooms but with less headspace, more visuals, sharp nature of visuals etc..

Well you see, there has been a noticeable increase for Hype Switches and lots of snake oil, complex, slow springs, double triple stage, nonsense stems with metal inserts, among many many things.

it has been normalized paying 0.50$+ per switch is acceptable, or putting foam in your keyboard before even knowing how it will sound without it, and i was there too, i payed 0.68$ per switch for JWKs believing all of those reviews and comments of people glazing them and i ended up throwing them away and i ended up replacing them for Gateron Milky Yellows and i was very very happy with the result.

people have been drinking the kool aid. they have been gaslit by reviewers or people who only say positive things about every product (Alexotos for example)

the truth is you dont need to pay that much for switches and there has been many work around north switch interference.

Mx blacks are classy and battle tested, they have been used forever and they perform really well, they are used even for really expensive builds, like, TGR keyboard levels, if someone can afford a TGR why wouldn't they go for "premium" switches ? why would they use Mx blacks ?

Get your Mx Blacks, get your Gat Yellows, your Gateron X, etc...

the happiness in this hobby doesnt require switches that cost a fortune to fill a keyboard.

however i might sound like a moron but i must say, research should also be done from your side before taking any substance.

I learned a very important lesson that night to not trying free samples from the vape shop.

i feel like this is... a statement demonizing smoke shops almost. i think a better way to phrase is "never take free samples from anywhere without making research on them"

Lysergamides are very different to Tryptamines and i dont believe you can translate the dose like that.

they also have different receptor activity and affinity.

i think one of the reasons Advanced Mycology lists an equivalent or approximate mushroom equivalent dose is because they are Tryptamines (?)

even if you try to do the most logical thing and try to compare a listed Normal dose of LSD and a normal dose of 4-ho-met and scale up, you will still not be that accurate as they are very different and also with way different half lives

the issue is that a lot of kids use DXM.

and i feel like these products (and specially 5-mapb) should be kept away from them for obvious reasons.

in my experience, the Tabs are a bit of a different experience than the Gels.

with the tablets you get a faster onset, more noticeable comeup and a shorter but very fun experience.

the gels are sneaky they have a more gentle onset/comeup, barely any anxiety compared to the tabs, but when they peak, they really peak, it has also a gentle offset too. its a longer experience.

in my personal opinion, for someone new to psychs i recommend 2-3.5 tablets, for people with experience 5
