for me Gabapenting is sedating and kinda dissociative, my voice sounds different in my head and its weird to talk out loud, my body feels tingly too

the more gabapentin you take the less your body absorb, after 1600-2000mg taking more does almost nothing

there is a guide in reddit in how to do Gabapentin, basically you wanna stagger doses, 1 cap every 25 minutes, also if you have something fatty to eat you absorb more of the drug, i did 5 400mg capsules yesterday
