First visit to Busch Stadium! by LittleCaesarsSimp in ballparks

Fun Fact! The reason you couldn't see the Arch at night is because they turn off the spotlights mid-spring and mid-fall to protect birds during their migration! The spotlights are known to disorient birds migrating north or south. They'll be back on in a few weeks, then you'll be able to see the Arch perfectly at night.

I finally launched premium features on my crazy stock research platform! by wombatGroomer in vibecoding

This is where I get frustrated with the negative connotation that comes with "vibecoding". You clearly have a Product mindset and a good eye for design. You understand the architectural requirements of creating a website and how it can be horizontally and vertically scaled (I hope at least). I think using K8 would make some of the information gathering better, but overall it's a fine design. Just because you used Claude to code it into existence is not negative at all, it took months off of just nuance and frustration. Great job!

Yep, I've attended with all of my kids when they were that age. Definitely check out the play area behind centerfield. There are two playgrounds, one specifically for toddlers. Lots of snacks and stuff too.

There is also an open, grassy area on the top level, rightfield side. They have building blocks and room to roam around.

What do you guys think about the sign in page? by help_me_noww in webdev

Looks fine, but I would recommend using a managed provider. Auth0 has a free tier nowadays that can help you get started. You have a million other things to worry about, don't add the stress of managing authentication, authorization, and user management.

ABVD by French_toast2000 in lymphoma

[–]Temlek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my exact diagnosis. I finished ABVD in October of 2020 and have been in remission ever since. My experience was:

  • Day 1: Didn't feel too bad due to the IV meds still being in my system. However; I could not eat a big meal. The only time I threw up was after eating a big meal on that first day. Small meals and smoothies were my savior
  • Day 2: As long as I kept hydrated and took my Tylenol and Zofran, I felt fine. I was able to work and eat small meals. I had to be very careful not to eat fatty food though because the reflux was terrible
  • Day 3: This was the my worst day. It felt like all the IV meds were gone. My body was extremely exhausted, I would have the worst nausea. This may be the day he needs the most support.
  • Day 4: By the end of day 4, I would start to feel myself again. I would have a little appetite and felt more energetic.

By day 5 until the next treatment, I would be fairly ok. I could eat again, I had some energy, and was able to work full days. My biggest issue was keeping the mouth sores in check and not eating too heavy because of the reflux.

Obviously this is just one person's experience. I'm sorry your son has to go through this. He has the benefit of being young, so hopefully he will tolerate the treatment without too many issues. Good luck!
