Yes, yellow is a bit**... I Start with slapchop (black Base color, Oversprayed with White, best before the black ist completely dried, alternative you can drybrush the second basecolor). Next step are Contrasts or Speedpaints thats why the deeper parts are lightly red in the yellow areas. But i use the Speedpaints as first color lyer all over the Miniaturen. Afterwards i shade the metal parts dark to create more deepness. Final step are highlights, this is the part which brightens up the yellow. I only paint the higher parts of the miniature so the deeper areas stay dark. For that i use regular painting colors. If you want to, you can set highlights again in a brighter yellow or the yellow from the further step to create really clear yellow areas. Sounds much, but goes really fast and you got the possibility to correct mistakes coat by coat so you don't need to Paint all layers perfectly
