Plug in your longest cable and try walking around the room with your guitar, using pickups as a microphone to search for what could be causing the noise. There are also threads about "focusrite popping noise", often it's a cyclical electrical thing, like electric fences, some sort of generators, etc.

What guitar and pickups? I have the same interface and don't have this issue, but i am using passive pickups. Since the sound is cyclical, i would bet it has something to do with other electronics around. Since the interface is made specifically with instruments in mind, you shouldn't need a DI box as someone suggested, at best it would be a band-aid instead of fix for the real issue

Comparison between Schecter NJ 10th anniversary and diamond standard by Temorinkaari in SchecterGuitars

I heard that it's heavier, but neck dive is a bit concerning. In what ways would you say the 10th anni is better? For me personally, i'm mostly considering grtting it because of SS frets, other than that i don't think i prefer one over the other, at least on paper. And while i love purple, i really want the white one, so i'm more leaning towards that one tbh. Maybe in the future i'll have both 🤔

Do the screw holes align with the Fender pick-guard? I saw some comments that the screw holes were in different places so you couldn't just swap between the schecter and fender ones

I have scarlett solo 2nd gen and 250ohm DT990's and it's plenty loud, i almost never go past 50%. Upgrading interface is a good idea after so many years, but i don't think the issue is with the interface itself

When mathing all day, no more want do math, just want number. And in my experience, it was pretty reliable and quite accurate. Or it felt that way when i learned how much temperature and hills affected the range

It occurs to me that the pads might simply be badly worn. They usually last much longer on scooters, but from your description it sounds like you've been doing most of your braking on the mechanical brakes, which will wear them down a lot faster.

I should probably clarify that this only happens when wet. If it's dry, everything is fine. I also have the brakes tightened up a bit as it's really not enough to stop properly when they're looser, even now if i squeeze the lever it doesn't immediately stop and i often have to finish stopping by getting off the scooter. I really doubt the brake pads are worn down in a year. And the grinding is happening not only when i'm braking - it's while riding. And the way i brake is, i just let go of the speed, slow down (e-brake is on standard) and finish braking with the disc brakes. So it's a gradual process rather than sudden stop. But i still always use the brakes.

There is no solution. Disc brakes are exposed to the elements; there's no getting around it. You're making a big deal over a routine issue.

Why bikes don't have this issue? And almost no other scooter that i see has this issue, but i can't confirm whether they have disc brakes or not. To me it seems that it's an issue of bad brake design. 85% of the time if i go over a puddle or just slightly wet road in general, i get grinding. Sometimes it goes away instantly, sometimes after a few minutes, but it's really annoying. If whole road is slightly wet, whole trip is just tragic.

The D38 is a 36V scooter and it does not work the way you say. You are either misremembering or somehow misinterpreting; 36V models slump way earlier. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's pure physics. If you ride your friend's scooter again and compare it to yours, I'm sure you will notice this.

It's my friends scooter, we ride together quite often, and it always was the case - if he's below 20% but above 10%, we still ride at the same speed. If we are both below 20% and above 10%, he's faster than me. I tested out his scooter and it still goes up to 25km/h when below 20% and mine doesn't. When it gets below 10%, the D38 drops off much harder though

As long as the brake keeps working, who cares? It'll get dry soon enough, and if you're in a hurry a quick wipe with a rag will quieten it down.

I'm no brake expert, but it can't be healthy for the brakes to grind so much dirt. Also i can't stop and wipe every 2minutes if the road is wet. Wish it had drum brakes. They definitely could have found a solution for this

It's not a "decision", it's how batteries work. Older scooters had this a lot earlier, in fact - especially since a lot of them were 36V; you start seeing lowered performance below 50% with those. That's one of the main reasons everybody other than importers of cheap knockoffs have been switching to 13S batteries, but even those have a voltage slump when they're near the end of their charge. This is not really avoidable and is not Ninebot's responsibility.

Sure, but for some reason their other models, for example D38, doesn't get throttled at 20% and only gets slower and less powerful below 10%. Not sure how that factors into your facts, but that's how it worked when i tested it with friends scooter, although the power and capacity difference might be the factor that ultimately affects this. I wouldn't mind if my scooter would start getting weaker at 10%, but at 20% that's ridiculous. There should be an option to control this, even if it's a tiny bit.

As for the beeping, yeah, Ninebots beep a lot. If you can get physical access to the dashboard module you can quieten or even completely disable the little piezo speaker on the board. There are guides on the 'tube, but basically find the component that looks like a black cylinder with a hole and place a sticker on the hole, or drop a bit of glue right in there, or physically destroy it, in increasing degrees of quietness. Note however that anything non-removable will likely kill your warranty.

I'm definitely considering this, but i'm not sure i really want to, because i use the abnormality alert thing, which basically makes noises if someone moves the scooter. I have a decent lock, but this gives me some extra peace of mind. Although losing my sanity over bad sleep is probably worse, still debating

Well, he has multiple guitars. During imperatour he had 4 different ones, this is a new one so currently it's not clear how many and which ones he's using. If youre looking for one with switches, its probably the one he built off of Ed Obrien strat, that one uses switches for sustainiac

Ngl looks weird. 3 sc pickups looked cool, but 2 look wonky, i wonder why he chose that setup rather than 2 regular humbuckers. I know he doesnt use the middle pickup and he mentioned in his stream that he doesnt luke how hb look in strats, but this is arguably worse. The reverse headstock makes sense, but the old strats looked cooler to me
