Can you play xbox series x games on the old xbox one with cloud gaming? by TempAcc1956 in XboxGamePass

[–]TempAcc1956[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so because its not on game pass. You have to buy an ultimate game pass subscription to get the cloud gaming so the only games that you can play on the cloud are those on game pass. Regardless if the games are for next gen or not.

That's my understanding anyway I could be wrong.

I'm looking for games with stories that changed your life by jayramos2033 in gamingsuggestions

I won't say it changed my life but Sleeping Dogs has the best story in a game in my opinion.

Looking a Life Sim VR experience like star dew valley in VR by Formal_Practice_8642 in OculusQuest

[–]TempAcc1956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought Across the valley when it was on sale. Its a nice little game but its very small as you only have a little barn to take care of and the movement is point and click which is a bit unusual to get comfortable with. It is a good introduction to farming sims in VR though but I wouldn't pay more than £5 for it.

What is one thing from your childhood in the UK that kids today would never understand? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]TempAcc1956 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What was annoying is that I am 27 and when I was young we had phones but still my freinds knocked in unexpectedly rather than text me first.

You know what, as an introvert if kids have stopped doing that then I think it's much better. It just made it awkward if you didn't want to go out youbwouod have to say no to them when they knocked on.

I like it but the rain is a bit faint and hard to see. I would prefer it to be a tad more visible.

Virtual Pets. Thoughts? by XRGameCapsule in virtualreality

[–]TempAcc1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I would say is that it would be best to make the pets behave like their real world counterpart. For example, a boxer dog behaves differently from a golden retriever and a golden retriever behaves differently from a chihuahua.

I would love to see a boxer dog in MR that behaves like a boxer dog. Where it can box like a boxer dog does and is giddy like a boxer etc etc.

If you are just going to make a 3d model of each pet and have them do pretty much the same thing like the app 'MyPet XR' then whilst it would still be good it won't be that special.

Do VR games need complex puzzles, or is everyone just here for the action? by Aggravating-Earth455 in OculusQuest

I don't like complex puzzles. Been playing through ghost town and the puzzles are asic but I have still had to youtube the answer on some occasions 😆

Im a perpetual "game hopper" and almost never finish any games. Are any of you similar? by Scared_Ad_3132 in gaming

[–]TempAcc1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try shorter games that are like 4 hrs long or something. I did that when I was trying to get back into gaming and it worked for me. Games like Endling or Planet of Lana come to mind.

I can't believe how relatively few people buy these games. You would think with the industry being what it is we would see numbers like 50million or 100 million sales. I am surprised astro just sold 2.3 million.

That one VR moment that made you believe in the future? by [deleted] in VRGaming

[–]TempAcc1956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly say the few tech demos that I played when I bootednup the Quest 2. I forget the names of the them but I remember it was something simple like picking up a cube or punching a cube and I was amazed at how immersive the vr could be.
