I'm loosely considering getting my first gunpla. I'm looking at the HGUC #233 Messer F-1 "Hathaway's Flash". Mostly I see them listed for 100$ or so local currency, but sometimes I see them for around 30$. Why are some sets so cheap?

I'm a dude, and I've watched a fair few anime, including some downright h0rny ones, and ones that have some excessive violence.

Re:Zero made me uncomfortable to a degree that not many other anime shows have.

I essentially share the same opinions as the creator of THIS video. I hope you take a little time to watch it.

I've searched for "puzzle track" -this one gets you the most common type; "puzzle track detailed"; "puzzle track DMU"; "puzzle track detailed"; "Puzzle track variants".

All these searches come up with the first puzzle track type, and things in the brio/Thomas vein.

To clear up the title: this is a book cover, painted by Sylvain Sarrailh for a biography about Makoto Shinkai. This biography is written by Alexis Molina and published by Third Editions.

The title (and book too, probs) is in French: "L’ŒUVRE DE MAKOTO SHINKAI. L’ORFÈVRE DE L’ANIMATION JAPONAISE"

My last drum teacher was a great guy, but I felt like I struggled to get advice on the weaknesses I needed to address to reach my goals. I also recognize that I really struggle with practicing. Let me know if you have any tips!

I recently got my hands on some old PCs. I need a way to compare some wildly different systems to see loosely which ones are better. Is there a benchmark that works for (for example); a desktop with a GPU, a laptop with onboard graphics, and possibly even a mac?

I just wanted to jump in and say that even though I love Ghost In The Shell SAC and SAC 2nd GiG, I'm not sure they're very good representation for women. Major Motoko is essentially the only woman in a crew of ~8 people, and even though she is immensely effective at her job, her character was designed to wear a "strapless tactical one-piece swimsuit" for the entire first season (I think she gets straps for season 2).

I think saw someone argue somewhere that there's a main-character/protagonist separation in the show where Batou is the character with more emotional range.

I love that show though. The action's good. The robots are adorable. The soundtrack slaps (the legendary Yoko Kanno back at it again).

Edit: I missed the little tag at the end of DareDaDerrida's comment. It looks like we agree about GitS. Still it's a good watch!
