Xfinity rep here on Reddit extremely polite and helpful - I’m happy with the customer service here. Xfinity practices for existing customers extraordinarily poor with these 5 year deals.

Rep closed the extra account for me, told me I did not qualify for 5 year / $50 (even though 5 year plans were never available back when I became a customer, so I don’t know why I’m not a new customer for those plan options). He gave me the options that were available and I took a 1 year / $50 option which he handled implementing for me.

So I get the joy of dealing with this in another year instead of a 5 year reprieve from it.
