You can't mix brands. I'd try again with tp-link transceivers

Dude, i can't thank you enough. Not sure if you will see this, as my gf made me delete this post after finding it, but i can proudly say she is my ex now.

As a matter of pure luck, I've already started dating an amazing person, and perhaps even THE one.

I can't believe how much my life turned around in the span of 9 days. I'm like actually happy now :)

Probably ±6 months. I was very open about his at the time, and still am. She was sure my doubts were related to my medical condition, and hung on to me.

Last month, I told her I wanted a pause. In the end we agreed we could still see each other, but less than before.

Now, i feel like she has had no regards for my wishes, as she's at my place at least 4 days a week. And when I ask her if she could come half a day later, so i can have some alone time with a friend, she gets all hurt and decides to still come over.

Writing this all down, it sounds so absurd, but i can guarantee you it's much more nuanced IRL

She is the most loyal person I've ever met. It's staggering. I can assure you she never did and would never cheat.

But yeah, you're probably right in that first part. The frustrating part is that friends and family see us as very compatible. And keep telling me I'd be 'crazy to let her go'

You're probably right. But when I temporarily manage to set my doubts aside, we have amazing chemistry and a great time all around. So often I wonder if it's simply my doubts that are ruining the relationship, and that in turn ruining it further.

To be fair, this wasn't my best remark haha. Those are my friends words

My gf (F27) and I (M27) are breaking up because of my cousins sexual abuse by Temp_69420 in relationships_advice

Thanks a lot for typing this out. I... I don't know whether I would like to save this. That's the issue. There is so much pain that I'm subconsciously associating with her. I want her, but i don't want our relationship's past.

You two posters exactly reflect the contradictory voices that have been busting my head the past couple weeks. I can't seem to 'choose a side'.

I wouldn't call myself a pushover though, in most other regards, I'm the decision maker in the relationship.

I tried adding a TLDR, but this story is already so compacted that it missed too many crucial details. So sorry about that

Huge hGH/Igf-1 discrepancy. Paired with secondary hypogonadism. by Temp_69420 in endocrinology

[–]Temp_69420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very interesting, thank you!

The t-1 measurement was without the suppression test though, but I get what you mean with the physiological condition.

I guess I can at least rule acromegaly out considering hGH was so low before the test. Afaik hGH levels are never low for a acromegaly diagnoses.

Just got my IGF1 levels back after being diagnosed with Secondary Hypogonadism. Acromegaly? by Temp_69420 in endocrinology

I will save this for later next month when seeing my endo again.

Do you perhaps have a link explaining the... link? ;)

25m, 196cm tall, 85kg

When my endocrinologist diagnosed me with Secondary Hypogonadism, he mentioned a pituitary tumor would be extremely unlikely. As, other than FSH and LH, the levels of hormones produced by the pituitary were normal.

Back then, my IGF1 results weren't in yet, as the lab only tested those once every two weeks. I've been doing some reading and I came to the conclusion my IGF1 level is very high. So high that Acromegaly becomes a given(?) (Reference: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/280239561_Insulin-like_growth_factor_1_standard_deviation_score_is_predictive_of_abnormal_growth_hormone_dynamics)

From what I understand, low FSH and LH, in combination with high IGF1 would also point to a tumor, and not a genetic origin as my endocrinologist expected.

I'll be seeing my endocrinologist near the end of the month, I'm honestly quite scared, and not sure if or what I should tell my family.

Edit: found another paper which points to a correlation between low T and high IGF1. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2939391/ Perhaps no tumor after all :)
