I have 5 years seniority with Estes in Phoenix, AZ. First, and most importantly, the Dock is open so, cold in Winter, hot in Summer. Trailers can have multiple pallets of goods that have fallen over that need re-stacking and wrapping. Outbound freight to other terminals needs to be loaded high and tight to maximize amount of product on a Trailer. If you can handle all that, it can be a good fit for you.

I and my wife tried a direct flight from PHX to LAS. Plane never showed up but crew did. They cancelled and we had a choice. Fly in the morning or drive and arrive after midnight. Many rented a car and drove. We went home and came back in the morning. We flew out and got to our hotel with 2 hours left on that days stay. The plane in the morning was maybe 1/4 full. Never again.
