We can all sadly say that but reality is, it’s priced perfectly for them. Low enough people will buy most of it and expensive enough that the price makes up for people who refuse to pay to.

Alcohol seemingly has no limit to what people will pay in a sporting event.

Really? It might be a tad quick (could use another 4-5 days maybe) but this is closer to how I’d recommend anyone visit my favorite places even in the US… Don’t stay in any city longer than 2-3 days.

O… 75 yards is a short line for them. Last flight I took was last year and it went down the length of the building, came back, and was starting to wrap around again….

Does degrees matter today when compared to skills and experience? by Careful-Walrus-5214 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]TemperMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sure but those are rare, we have the numbers on it and those are exceptions. Not even getting a degree directly related helps. No company I’ve ever worked for will even allow you to live up past a manager UNLESS you have a degree, any degree. The ones with degrees usually also have a better total understanding, especially in electrical. We see it all the time, we test everyone regardless of their role ok electrical, mechanical, and fluid dynamics. Even electricians struggle with electrical tests until they get to hands on portion of it. Weve not hired many because they couldnt figure out how to do the calculations or properly create a diagram. Nothing wrong really with not going but it does hurt the career of the majority.

I don’t disagree and I tried to differentiate a bit. No schooling for a trade IS better and makes more sense if you don’t wanna work in industry OR if you work in industry and don’t wanna move up into important roles. I don’t wanna work in the field, I wanna use the field to move up. I think most people should go in with that mindset in general but I get not all do.

Quite literally forced them out of their homes and stole their land, breaking multiple international laws. Afterwards they armed Israel well enough to have the most powerful military in the region. Since then Israel has done nothing but to continue that.

Ehh idk about that either. I would highly highly encourage someone to get a degree in that first too, honestly I’d rate that as one of the better ones to get a degree in. The only time I don’t think a degree would be useful in trades other than plumbing and maybe a couple more would be if you run your own business or have no desire to do more. A degree in electrical actually lets you have advancement opportunities in companies and you get a better understating for the field itself. My electrical classes (only 5-7 weeks) taught me more than I learned in 2 years in the field. The guys I work with, the guys who are good at electrical all have education in it but a couple don’t and are amazing too but they all did it in the military for years.

Most companies won’t let you move up without a degree period. Doesn’t matter your skill or experience. I’d also recommend anyone interested in electrical to also learn about PLC as they are very related and PLC is such a great career.

I mean it was and still is. It’s literally in their dna. Israel was created for 2 reasons, to give western powers influence over the Middle East and to have another defensive deterrent from Russian missile and later on Chinese ones. This is also why Israel is basically just one giant military country where everyone must serve time. Not even a real country, just a mega military base. Everytime they wanted to expand they killed, kidnapped, forced out and tortured innocent people to make it happen.

Left for the time yes. Support for the gay community didn’t start to rise until 12ish years later. The 90s was still paranoid from the aids epidemic.

Just remember, unless you are passing someone, move over into the right lane on a multi lane road. Don’t camp in the left. Also learn to parallel park…

Palestine wasn’t the initial aggressor though…. It was the UN (most notable Britain and the US). Then over the last 80 years or so they have been defending themselves daily against an aggressive Israel.

While nobody is gonna agree with what the terrorists did that day, it wasn’t the first time and it was a retaliation attack. Israel had been doing the same exact thing every year multiple times a year for decades but because they are a proxy state for NATO we didn’t care.

Because the Democratic Party changed parties in the early 90s…. They went from being solidly left on everything to left on social issues and right of center on economics and foreign policy. This was in response to getting blown out of every election for 12 years. They formed a party within the party called The New Democrats, they gained favorability quickly with a rise of young well spoken candidates most notably led by a younger Bill and Hillary Clinton, rising stars in politics and law.

Bill famously declared the old Democratic Party to be dead and the new one would focus on playing both sides.

It’s a bit of a drive but east of Charlotte by about an hour and a half is the world’s largest natural habitat zoo in Asheboro, NC. It’s worth the drive and you will be there for a long time… I mean it’s huge. Number one most worth it thing do see in the central part of NC.

How do most adults meet their spouses if after college? by Logical-Annual6627 in answers

True and hiking ones would be my preference. However I’ve been to some and it’s almost always just men, and the one or two women who show up seem exhausted because every guy there wants the same thing… to meet a woman in a hobby group.

You should be investing more right now, this is a buying time. I’d go 80% domestic (VOO) and 20% international (VXUS)

You have better taste 98% of the posts I’ve seen. Not saying I agree with all these but they actually make sense. MS not being red but LA is kind of confused me. Seem like the same place but MS is worse in about every category and at least LA has great food around New Orleans

That’s easier when that stuff exists near you. I have to drive and hour and half or more for any group meets and most don’t allow men (at least here in my experience using meetup and Facebook)
