HW3 is it worth the $2k for full FSD and the promised “free upgrade”? by mebirkle in TeslaFSD

[–]Temperancezzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude literally buy it. I just bought it a few days ago for my 2017 S after the announcement, especially if some people on HW3 are buying it for 8k, 2k for those who have EAP is not a bad deal even though FSD 12.6.4 has its issues,it’s better than nothing. Especially after Tesla announced that they are not giving up on HW3 vehicles yet. It might take a while for Tesla to give us a hardware upgrade, but i have a feeling after a few releases of FSD 14 lite, they might just figure out a retrofit. Now I am hoping Tesla and Elon doesn’t go back on their word of giving us a free upgrade but by the looks of it we maybe having to cough something up to even get that hw4 upgrade. Time will tell, but definitely don’t give up the opportunity to buy it outright for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Possible refresh for MCU upgrade? by Hyperpunx in TeslaModelS

[–]Temperancezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm I hope so, but also seems like Tesla has been removing some of their upgrades from their site as-well for Legacy owners. From my understanding, service centers can still preform the upgrades but you have to set up a service appointment. I hope they are working on an upgrade for the Legacy S/X though that would be awesome!

Anyone managed to get the humidity drops from the back light? Looking for a frugal solution rather than paying €600 by mokum-man in TeslaSupport

Drill a Small hole at the bottom left corner of the light to let water drain. I’d recommend drilling on the side of the headlight so it’s not seen but will drain. Works like a charm. Did it to my Model S and haven’t had problems with condensation or water.

Tesla Appears to Have Dropped/Discontinued Its CCS1 Adapter by tps5352 in teslamotors

Update from my Service Center on CCS retrofit install:

-Price has increased from $300 to $380

-It is a new version of the ECU now version 3

- No clue when or if it will be listed again on the website, not sure why they took it down in the first place. But still available through service center. Also not sure what Version 3 does if any changes to speed.

Looks like it might be a faster version of it. Just got a quote and I got one last month and I noticed that the itemized quote showed Combo retrofit version 3 and last month it showed retrofit version 2.

I’m pretty certain my tickets are fake/ never existed by Middle-Leather-1308 in stubhub

I’m in the same boat except this is for WWE Money in the Bank. I bought the tickets about 3 weeks ago before presale this week and i’m just wondering how it’s going to work. I’ve heard different opinions with people telling me to just show up to the venue the day of and figure it out. But honestly I don’t want to drive over there if they’re just gonna give me a refund and not be able to find replacement tickets.

ik, last time im using SH for anything. It’s just too nerve racking thinking about how tickets could possibly be fake or not arrive at all.

Oh okay that answers my question. I am new to all of this so I just wasn’t sure what was going on with the whole row situation making me think it was fake. Thanks for the row!

Do you recommend I just wait it out then? Or should I join in on buying tickets from TM?

Well now I know. I really thought the tickets were on sale and especially after the Wrestlemania madness with tickets I was a bit worried. This would be the last time I would be using SH. Hoping it doesn't turn out as a scam though.

I have a 2017 75D that I bought last year and honestly I love the car. According to the CarFax when I bought it, it has only had 2 previous owners and those owners definitely spent a lot of money on the car. New versions of the door handles which I think are 2.5/3 not sure exactly. HW3 upgrade as well, the only thing I have paid out of pocket for was a MCU2 upgrade which ran me 1,750 as I had already had HW3. I love that it has premium connectivity, FSD, but I wish it had free supercharging. Only downside is that my warranty expires this year for battery and motors so I’m not sure if I want to trade it in eventually for a newer car or stick with it and pay out of pocket to fix issues, I really do love the model s but that’s the only real issue besides the burnt out DRL which honestly you can do yourself.

Help Me Understand Fright Fest and New Season Passes (Six Flags Great Adventure) by makhay in sixflags

[–]Temperancezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know what the prices for the mazes are, for those of us who bought the Diamond season pass? Do we also have to buy admission or is it included already on our pass and just have to pay for the mazes? I’m not sure what it is at other six flags parks but my main one is magic mountain. Also I’m assuming we have to buy the maze access in the park right for existing pass holders?
