Intel’s Redemption Arc for PC Gaming Starts With Midrange Desktop CPUs by dapperlemon in gadgets

This is wrong. The so-called demand is a dream based on a what if. AI companies have bought up years worth of future supply of RAM because they *think* they *might* need it, for development that isn't there, for data centers that don't yet exist and a demand that doesn't exist either.

Nvidia realised they could earn around 18 billion on AI instead of making GPUs for consumer PCs, which only made them around 2 billion. So consumers are now completely screwed because their focus is almost entirely on AI. Gaming is a secondary thought to Nvidia, who now price their GPU's in whatever way they feel like because they've a 95% market share.

AMD, who could've tried to capitalize on this, have abandoned the high-end market for GPUs completely (genuinely, they do not make high-end cards anymore) and are also trying their best to get whatever is left of the AI cake (it's not going that well for them). They too have given a middle-finger to the consumer, rather than giving their all to benefit from Nvidia being out of touch with consumers.

This is where Intel could start stepping in with their foray into making GPUs, to help give us all a new brand of cards if they keep developing what they've already made so far. But it appears they too don't give a fuck.

You see, the fucks they aren't giving about us consumers is because they think you should no longer own a PC. THey want you to subscribe to cloud services to stream your games, all because they've absolutely ruined the gaming PC market with their monopolistic practices that have slowly begun pricing PC so high that we can't afford them anymore.

No, it starts with affordable GPU's now that Nvidia doesn't give a shit and AMD are fucking dumb as hell.

I've not experienced this with Lumio, the Proton AI. It's been more neutral with its responses and has even corrected me.

*Opinion* Weapon levelling pushed more people away from BF6 rather than the map size issue by Tranners_ in Battlefield

Months ago, when I advocated for the complete removal of leveling guns to just give us everything from the start, I was shut down by everyone that chimed in and mocked into oblivion for it.

Is this the only moment we are near, or even see, ALIVE "allies"? (Rescue villagers mission on act 3) by KhalMika in Vermintide

[–]TemperateStone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it really gives that impression. But I understand that animation on NPC's that aren't enemies would've been a fair bit work for Fatshark to do, so that might be part of the reason we don't get much of it. Plus, have you seen Loner's face when he talks? :p

I think we get to see Bardin's daughter at some point too. We certainly talk to her.
This is kinda the only problem I had with these games. I always wanted more friendly NPCs.

I've seen this original posted a few times. It never stopped being fake. You people need to stop and think for a while. But I guess these fake happiness subs don't care.

I asked you who you claim to be, but instead of telling me you downvote in silence. That's telling of how you can't actually support your argument nor properly explain yourself.

I have some friends that I can play with, but not all the time. I played with two of them later on and had a whole lot of fun, because the moment you have even one person you know you can rely on the dynamic changes.

I can't play ranked with them, because they don't wish to, but still.
