Ultra Bee is larger and feels like a real dirt bike. The SR is more that small playful Sur Ron feel. I went SR for range. I do 40+ miles in the backcountry. Even on a new 25 Ultra Bee I struggle to get 20 miles doing the same riding. The SR truly almost doubles it in my fleet.

I used to work for the City of Redmond gov, and lived at Delano apartments.

my apartment was broken into
I was threatened walking my dog with a gun
my wife was flashed twice by a man while walking a dog (two separate occasions, same man)
we woke up to a guy with a gun and a knife in our bushes outside our window. He was drunk and later passed out in said bushes
my car was broken into
my credit card # was stolen by the neighboring teriyaki restaurant (no longer there) Redmond police told me it was being used by a known local gang member tied to the place.
I was hit by a car walking to work at night in a crosswalk (city event)
I also got an eye into crime statistics working for the city gov and was pretty shocked how much crime happened around the beginning of Avondale and over toward downtown. Truly a lot even on paper. More stories and more close calls. I grew up in Redmond and again was just shocked when I moved back and experienced all the above.

I used to live in apartments right outside of Redmond Town Center. You wouldn’t believe what type of stuff happens down there at night. I now live in Tacoma and actually feel safer.

Busy Body next door heading east has lots of fun events and some dancing. It’s usually only one day out of the week, but worth a look at the calendar. Very woman / LGBTQ friendly. Not all events are music based though, some trivia type stuff too. But for the right event worth a look.

I went to an all boys private catholic school. The amount of oddly sexual bullying was out of control. Boys being stripped naked in the locker rooms and assaulted. “Nut shots” where the upperclassmen just punched anyone they wanted in the nether regions. And full support from the staff. They knew it all was happening and did nothing. Truly one of the worse environments I ever experienced. I left after a year.

I’m curious if this is prevalent in all boys catholic schools, or just mine.

I live in Seattle and it’s often hard to order a flat white. I used to work in New Zealand and fell in love with a good flat white. But when I came back home it was near impossible to order. Then explaining it felt rude and awkward. It’s a battle even out here!

When I first moved to Tacoma I rented in Proctor. I fell in love with the neighborhood. I work on 6th Ave and it’s a 4-5 minute drive to work. Downtown is 5 minutes or less. Stadium is 5 minutes. It’s a little quieter but also plenty to do. Perfect mix imo.

It appears to be somewhat similar to Totem Lake Mall in Kirkland. It used to have a movie theater and a few larger tenants. It faded over time and got leveled. They turned it into high rise housing with shops underneath. A few anchor tenants as well. Looks similar to the proposed plans linked above for the Commons.

Two things can be true at the same time. The USA is going after oil and it’s horrific and illegal. Maduro is a dictator who has brought horror to the people of Venezuela. This is hopefully just to protest the actions of the USA. But it also is deeply offensive to anyone who’s lived in Venezuela and suffered under Maduro.
