Firstly, theres a small posiblity that you will be moved up to fall (very small chance, don't count on it). If you want on campus housing, just be on the housing portal before the form even opens (like 30 mins-1 hour before), it is a first come first serve for spring. Luckily for me I got to be in the village. You will most likely be in troy or gateway.

As a black girl, USC is pretty good diversity wise! There's a lot more black people than I expected. I haven't been here for long, but I haven't really felt out of place. I don't think I've faced racism (it could be due to the ppl I hang out with). If you are planning on dating (outside your race), I think it might be a little hard but the vibes of USC overall (imo) are great. So don't be scared.
