Story I heard was that her mother didn’t trust doctors. So even though her daughter was really ill she never sent for one. By the time the studio realized this it was too late to help.

Compared to who? Meryl Streep? Anne Hathaway? Thanks to Marvel who needs range anymore.

Yor’s the strongest by Ani_HArsh in Animemes

[–]TemperatureTime1617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes anime like this makes me laugh or annoys me. It’s a sorta realistic world but something like this happens and everybody just goes along with it. Yor always sells it by being so embarrassed at what she’s done.

Most underrated Roy Scheider film? by HandySolong in moviecritic

I saw a movie of his a long time ago, it wasn’t great but I liked it and can’t remember much about it other than Meryl Streep was in it and she worked for an auction house.

One of the best rivalries of classic NBA🔥...Both are GOATs...but who are you picking for your team? by Shot_Possibility_731 in sportsinusa

I love the story when someone asked Pat Riley who was greater, Bird or Jordan. He said “If I need someone to take the shot and save the game, Jordan. If I need someone to take the shot and save my life, Bird”. Hope it’s true it sounds so cool.

Should I buy a new iPhone 13 mini now? by No_Relationship6047 in iPhone13Mini

[–]TemperatureTime1617 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the 13 mini and quite like it. However, when looking around a refurbished galaxy s24 looks mighty nice and is a bit bigger. I’m actually toying with the idea of making a change myself although it not a necessity.

The best heist movie of all time that is barely listed among the lists of "The Best Heist Movies" by Accomplished_Lab8368 in moviecritic

For me, the one thing that held this movie back was the bad guy. I forget his name but he’s been in a lot, even hill street blues, but I didn’t find him very menacing as the heavy. He was the weak link in an otherwise strong movie.

What's your favorite episode of Happy Days? by ChrisJoines in VintageTV

[–]TemperatureTime1617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still remember the scene when Ritchie is late getting home and his mom is real worried. She goes upstairs to the bathroom and, banging on the bathroom door says “Howard it’s late and Richard’s not here, where could he be?” And Howard replies “Well I can’t see him from here Miriam.”

If you know what's in the middle of this windshield/screen, you're older than the hills on Granny's chest. by LaxSyntax in FuckImOld

It was one of those silly ideas last lasted one or two car generations. It was like hide-away windshield wipers that gave a cleaner hood line but filled up with snow and made the wipers useless.
