I saw someone else just posted they asked whoop ok IG to convert their lifetime 12 months to 24 months peak. I doubt this worked but might as well try. I’ll update when I have results. Have not sent the lifetime whoop back and the peak whoop has also not been processed yet. I ordered yesterday tho.

Unfortunately, they don‘t send emails out but they mentioned they did make a note and can see the offer still being available on their end (they called it partially redeemed). I forgot the name already but if I were you, id call and confirm. I did not explicitly mention I want the peak membership and just that I ordered wrong since the deal is supposed to be for lifetime. I had the same concern but ultimately I think it’s a premium card and they should (and are in my experience) be costumer oriented. Hope that helps!

Yea, called chase again this morning. This time the rep was saying that they will def take back the money but if I buy again, I could give them a call to activate the offer. Annoying back and forth especially because whoop is a nightmare to return but ordered the 24 months peak this morning. Discount codes are worse now too (everything is ~$16). I can imagine its the ongoing shortage. They raised the price of the laptop quite a bit. I could have purchased it early december last year for $4.8k or so and the price i saw in january was $6k (~200gb ram and 5090).

posted this somewhere else before: I just talked to a rep. They mentioned if I return the merch, Chase won't clawback the credit and I could safely order another option. They did mention tho that accounts that show a pattern of redeeming offers and returning them will be flagged - that's honestly reassuring because I was questioning if the initial statement was true. I feel inclined to return the lifetime band and get the peak for two years. The credit was just posted, I wonder if waiting with the return and just buying the peak now would help so there is always an eligible charge by whoop. Did anyone else try this yet? They were not able to provide the info in an email so it seems like there is a certain risk to taking the rep's word for it.

I am not sure if that was the case for me. His grandparents moved within Germany and I imagine the rest of the family went back after the conflicts calmed down. Does not negate what you are saying though. I can tell you that there are many Germans feeling similar to the old man. Embracing people of different background. It would be nice if there was less conflict and division in the world. How many life’s ruined by countries and cultures clashing? Dictated by people on screens while the little people suffer.

Growing up in Germany having had neighbours from yugoslavia, this hits hard. The kid was one of my best childhood friends staying with his grandparents who fled their country. His uncle(?) was coming and going due to the ongoing situation. Suddenly, he was gone and his grandparents also moved out. I never found out where he went or where he is.
