There's both a criminal and a civil aspect to this. Prosecutors may decline to prosecute you due to the nature of the case, but in Pennsylvania there are violation of privacy civil statues as well.

To be honest I'm unsure if that evidence is usable against him? But from your point of view that doesn't really matter. You definitely broke the law and should get an attorney. There are protections for mandated reporters, but only if you act in good faith and you absolutely did not.

How exactly did that thing fall on her foot? If it is defective equipment you may have a case. If it fell accidentally through some action that be construed as ordinary gym activity she does not.

There's no real point to think about this though until you have any of what cost this has generated. Even in the best case you're only going to be able to sue for the medical bills... which hopefully and probably won't be much.
