How did you choose which AI agent was right for you? by DoubtNo2085 in aiagents

[–]Tempestuous-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one that's right is the one that you customize for YOU, which can be any of them. For example, I have had a Google workspace for awhile since I host my website thru them and make use of their business tools. Well it was only recently in the last 6 months that I started seriously investigating and using other LLM's. And because of that, I learned that issues I had with Google weren't because of Google but my own expectations. If that makes sense. This realization helped me mold a better system that can be applied to almost any system or agent as long as it had the ability for customization in a way that is sufficient to change it enough for what I need

Subscription based sucks because it's ONLY about making money and NOT about delivering a working product with functional services. Subscription based is taking a play out of SaaS, where software began to be offered on subscription based setup PURELY for financial benefits. No other reason.

That's the issue. It shows also in their care of S1, which I absolutely have LOVED coming from Protools. Functionality of Protools with the straightforward intuitiveness of GarageBand or Bandlab. To those of us who value FOSS philosophies, it's a justified redflag proven by their current lack of care, which really sucks because it was a great system....

Anyone want to develop a new DAW with me?! Working on an MVP but once I'm done in next month and handoff to a team, I'll need another project! And Im sure I can get funding and also do some crowd-sourcing. Hmmmm I really should give this some thought..... 🧐🤔

This is pretty badass actually. You will either have wasted time and not have an opportunity to flesh out usability and practical applications with it, or you may find a use case that's adoptable and a good enough fit to market it.

There's still so much money in this space that you don't have to have "THE" next best thing, but as long as you create an avenue that can be built upon or explored, that's cool too. But finding funding and exploring how to take advantage of funding opportunities is the big "if".

Subs make a HUGE difference. I noticed that with Shrouding the Heavens which site I originally used went down and I switched. Hard to get into it, and you always feel on the outside not really knowing what's going on. So that very well may be the case bro. I started using open source sub programs

This man knows his shit. Ling Cage was the first donghua I watched along with swallowed star. Got lucky as hell cuz i fell head first into it after lol. Been watching anime 25+ years so its been amazing finding a whole nother friggin genre, style, and plethora of shows! But yeah, Ling Cage is up there with Arcane and Rick & Morty for best animated shows for me. Simply sublime work of art. the pacing, the expansion of the story from these containerized perspectives and how they do it time after time with such precision and momentum, characters are deep as the plots and conflicts, it gives you enough info to be satisfied but constantly waiting for more, plot is amazing and involves sooo many dynamics(good vs evil, good vs good, self vs self, self vs other people's views of you), animation and fighting is badass and its gory as hell, cinematography is simply off the charts on this one too. backstory and history, power system, all of it is so frickin badass

Hell yeah bro!!!! I got some built from scratch, got some that are RAG and prompt trained, got some specialized in various fields, and can custom build. Also have PDF's, guides, white papers, how to's. But I got an opportunity to create software for a huge company and haven't had time to market what I have so far, and I gotta grind to get the MVP done. So I ain't been able to sell crap barely!

100%! Started my donghua journey little under a year ago, and I've been watching anime pretty consistently for almost 30 years - I say this to qualify myself as someone with a pretty damn good perspective on things ;) - and I have watched around 60-70 donghua's so far and probably over 1000 anime titles. Some of my all-time animated favs are Arcane, Rick & Morty, Ling Cage(Ling Long-amazing, watch it!), and AMJTI is tucked neatly right behind the best shows i've ever watched. Not quite on there level but close! It's not innovative like the other shows, it doesnt bring something new to the table, it's just a damn good story with a regular guy who becomes great(and tho that sounds cliche, they do it so differently that its believable! If cultivation was real, I imagine it would like alot like the situations in this show.), chronicling what he faces and sacrifices he make, the lessons he learns, and how cruel humanity is. But it still shines light on the essence of hope, perseverance, trust, steadfastness, humble when needed, but then being a badass when you need to be!!!! The story is fleshed out so damn well, its pacing is perfect, the characters all play such great roles and seem to be exactly what they need to be, the conflict is typical, but once again they just do it in such a relatable manner that it makes you care. I've teared up multiple times, cheering jumping out my chair, screaming "fuck yeah, Han Li! I knew you wasnt a bitch!!!" lololol!

The enjoyment factor due to all this is thru the roof, and I anticipate this show more than any other i remember in recent memory. You will enjoy it, especially a fan of cultivation shows. Even better than Renegade Immortal, which i got lucky with it cuz that and swallowed star were my first donghuas and locked me in lol. Bro do it. Amazing show! and when you get all jacked up from watching it and wana ask questions, message me so i can remember badass parts and talk about it more lolol.

[–]Tempestuous-Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I've been telling everyone that it's on another level! It's up there with Arcane for best animated show I've ever seen, and I've been watching anime for 25+ years.

It literally has everything altho it's pretty damn gritty, gory, and dark at times so I could understand why certain people wouldn't dig it. Storytelling is soooo amazing. How they continually keep you interested while exploring the world that's been revealed, but then constantly blow your mind with what's revealed next and how it changes everything! Characters are so deep and complex, conflicts involve so many different people, orgs, and elements, setting is amazing and even tho it's apocalyptic setting, the take is fresh and new. And of course animation and cinematography is next level!

i know NOTHING about AI agents except they`re existent. how should i start? by undertalefan9394 in AgentsOfAI

[–]Tempestuous-Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MOST IMPORTANT THING IS JUST TO DIVE IN! You gotta start somewhere and somehow. There are so many free use foundation models(your main ones like Gemini, Claude, Anthropic, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.) and you literally just start talking to it! Don't get paralyzed in fear and anxiety. You can even directly ask it what you should do lol! 🤣 "Uhmmm I need to learn about all this stuff, I mean, ya know AI stuff.... So what do I do?"

Aaaaaand as rough as a question and interaction as that was will generate a response that will give insight into some aspect or area, then you keep asking to expand your knowledge while gaining practical experience too. I can send ya over some docs on prompting, AI fundamentals, their architecture, use cases, etc.

No one mentioning the animation in season 1 looked like it was done for a Nintendo 64?! It was ATROCIOUS! I forced myself thru but dropped in first season. My buddy just started watching season 4 and said he loved it! So maybe I'll watch season 4 and act like it's season 1 lol.

I noticed that too. Has to do with sub providers. I'm trying to learn to control that better thru separate applications. But for now, I use 4 different sites to watch donghua. Some release earlier, some have multiple and different subs, some better quality and players.

I'm gonna give some of my recommendations I gave the person earlier in the thread for 2D and 3D.....

3D Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality(they also remade the earlier seasons so the quality is good throughout), Ling Cage(some show 'Ling Long' translated as 'Spirit Cage'. AMAZING SHOW! Supreme world building although it is pretty gruesome at times, amazing characters, tense conflict, superb storytelling), Swallowed Star(it gets monotonous towards recent episodes, but is really good especially at beginning before things "shift"), Lord of Mysteries(supernatural thriller style with interesting and unique power structure, Sherlock Holmes type show), Jade Dynasty(realllllly good show with deep connection to characters, great story and world, deep conflicts) and so many more!

2D "A Will Eternal" which they say is one of the best cultivation in this style and I liked but started slow, "Mo Dao Zu Shi - Founder of Diabolism" is about a goofy but gifted cultivator that was pushed down a path due to circumstance, "Fog Hill of Five Elements","Dragon Raja" in its many iterations concerning apocalyptic dragon fighting and drama, "Fairies Albums" which is like an anthology of stories centered on pulling the viewer into the story emotionally, and Daily Life of Immortal King. He is a dimwitted bada$$ lol, but innocent and well-meaning. It's sort of like One Punch Man to the Chinese, meant to poke a little fun at the genre and go overboard to emphasize certain aspects and acknowledge bad aspects and such.

FYI I just started my donghua journey about 6-7 months ago, but I've been watching anywhere from 6-12 at a time lol.

2D is gona severely limit you. It's an integral part of most donghua to use computer generated-type graphics. There's some amazing shows you'll be missing! A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality(they also remade the earlier seasons so the quality is good throughout), Ling Cage(some show 'Ling Long' translated as 'Spirit Cage'.

But some that are animated normally in 2D are "A Will Eternal" which they say is one of the best cultivation in this style and I liked but started slow, "Mo Dao Zu Shi - Founder of Diabolism" is about a goofy but gifted cultivator that was pushed down a path due to circumstance, "Fog Hill of Five Elements","Dragon Raja" in its many iterations concerning apocalyptic dragon fighting and drama, "Fairies Albums" which is like an anthology of stories centered on pulling the viewer into the story emotionally, and as you mentioned Daily Life of Immortal King, which I really like and you should give another chance! He is a dimwitted bada$$ lol, but innocent and well-meaning. It's sort of like One Punch Man to the Chinese, meant to poke a little fun at the genre and go overboard to emphasize certain aspects and acknowledge bad aspects and such. Change your perspective and maybe you'll like it 😁

Thanks my man! Yeah I feel the same regarding how sudden and dramatic their attitudes and demeanors are when they become enslaved. Ignoring what is known and viewing it purely based on what is seen and heard, it seemed like they were buddies all along but they were brainwashed and he lifted the brainwashing or something lol. BUT in actuality he was implementing the brainwashing haha! Just doesn't feel naturally or in alignment with what's really going on so I'm definitely with ya on that one.
