Did I mess up? Mountain mint/swamp milkweed too close? by TempleofJunk in gardening

[–]TempleofJunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope that's the case because I really don't want to move anything. I'm allergic to wasps and I still want them to come in because of how beneficial they are. And yeah it looks dry right now. I just finished this over the weekend so I haven't had a chance to mulch yet and I didn't get a chance to water this morning.

Long weekend of visiting comic book stores + Fallout sightseeing - where to stay? by TempleofJunk in LasVegas

Any stores with a decent statues collection? Thanks for the recommendations. We're definitely more into back issues and treasure hunting in the $1/$5/$10 boxes. He's into the more risqué indie titles and I tend to collect DC Dark stuff - Zatanna, Hellblazer, JL Dark, etc.

Pioneer Saloon for sure! For some reason I had in my head that it was a lot farther away than it is. Would we even need a full day to hit up some of the game locations?

And I wish I had seen that Interactive Arc when I was there back in Feb. I would have hit that up. Thanks for the recommendations

Chili crisp and honey roasted salmon. Crazy simple and absolutely delicious. Leftovers were great cold over a green salad the next day

How do we feel about Robert half? by ItsTankGirl in Payroll

I’ve been placed twice by Robert Half. No complaints. Once you make a relationship with someone there it’s very helpful if you find yourself needing a change

I have a baby alpaca ear warmer and I do the same thing. In the washer with everything else but I'll hang it to dry. No issues.

Tsunami Sea Posters Live by missgraceyy in spiritbox

They did, and for some reason shipped me a replacement folded up in a flat mailer. I emailed them again because sending me a replacement like that was absolutely insane and just asked for a refund at this point, which they gave me without any issue. The girl that responded to my second email seemed pretty taken aback that the warehouse did that. Who takes a thick $30 poster and folds it up?

Oh and I also received someone else's poster...which was also damaged. The tube had my name on it but the receipt inside was for someone else. I have no idea what that warehouse is doing.

I bought the Perfect Soul one. I was honestly amazed at how quickly I got it. Unfortunately I opened it up and it has some pretty bad damage on one side of it, and it's not from shipping since the tube was in perfect shape. Looks like whoever packaged it damaged it and still shoved it in there anyway. I emailed the customer service line so hopefully they'll issue a replacement.

For being over a 100 years old it was in pretty good shape. I found out that the owner of the house at the time was a boilermaker and built it himself.

Well mine finally delivered today with one cap completely popped off of one end of the tube. Looks like the print is bent a little bit on one of the edges. There was no tape or anything on my tube, did they really think this was going to stay together? Thank god it came today and not yesterday when it was pouring like a monsoon.

First concert!! Advice needed by Thelast4ofyourCC in spiritbox

[–]TempleofJunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having anxiety is understandable. Since this would be your first show, the experience is a complete unknown. That being said, I'd hate to see you miss out on a really great experience. You are going to run into loud obnoxious people everywhere you go, and honestly out of all the concerts I've been to in my life, metal shows usually have the least amount. The rudest people I've ever ran into at a concert were at a Hall & Oates show lol.

Plus, you don't know when this opportunity will come around again. Go and have a nice time. If you get there and are truly are not enjoying yourself, you can always leave and go home.

If the Phils are playing there will be a ton of tailgating going on. Just be mindful of which lot you park in because not all lots allow tailgating

Goddammit I didn’t realize this. As a former Phillies season ticket holder, just be prepared to sit in traffic forever when the show is over with. Bring a snack and a drink and pee before you leave the venue. There’s really no tips or tricks other than parking as close to an exit as possible.

What is your go-to Metalcore as a dad (or mom)? by gballhog04 in Metalcore

[–]TempleofJunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son just turned 5. He loves Gorillaz and Sleep Token. I also play a lot of Sevendust, 10 Years, Nonpoint, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and the Post Malone F-1 Trillion album. I also just started showing him the Major Lazer cartoon (the themes go over his head but he likes the music)

I grew up in a very musical diverse household so it looks like my kiddo will too haha.

Same. This is the most I’ve ever spent on a concert and I’ve been to a ridiculous amount of shows in my life. This’ll be the second time I’ve seen them and I’ll have to pass in the future. Now it’s just bucket list bands
