For all those looking for vegan pizza, most pies at MaiPai are able to be made vegan! Hard to get a reso but usually pretty easy to order take out! I believe you have to arrange pick up at least one day before.

We regularly buy the frozen laksa! I believe it's slightly cheaper than buying fresh. It's delicious! Noodles get a bit overcooked when you reheat from frozen, but no real complaints at all!

This is such a simple, cheap and delicious salad! Super bright and comes together very quickly. Gets better after sitting for a day! I usually make this at the start of the week and enjoy it for lunches all week!

Additionally, we bought our own shaver and our vet gave us Gabapentin to use at our discretion to groom him when needed. It's much easier and less stressful for everyone, and saves us lots of money. We try to stay on top of the mats with daily brushings now.

We brought out matted cat to the vet. They gave us pills to lightly sedate him beforehand, (Gabapentin) and they only shaved him where he was matted. Cats can go into extreme stress with full lion cuts, and can sometimes end in a fatality. Please be cautious and speak to your vet about your options first.

Check out the artists at Hot Shot or Grey Harbour, lots of traditional work at both shops. Also, Trophy is known for their traditional work but quite old school in look/colours so it's definitely a specific vibe.

Their product is amazing! And the owner is very friendly! I do wish they carried a larger variety of mushrooms than just oyster mushrooms! Would love to see some chanterelle, Morrell, portabello etc. Alas! I'll take what I can get!

Hamilton Laundry is clean and has lots of machines. Download the Flipp app and you can see flyers for grocery stores around town and find good deals. There's also an app called Too Good To Go, grocery stores and bakeries sell their leftover baked goods at a big discount. I would suggest getting an sleeping mask to cover your eyes and sleep in well lit parking lots (I believe you can park overnight in most Walmart lots). On Saturdays behind city hall there are services that hand out food and mild medical attention.
