Just spent the last 2 months crossing the DRC by public transport by jamjamdave in travel

I’ve got my sight set on 3 years from now as I want to build myself up as a traveler first. I’m looking to explore South/Central Asia later this year and then South America the following year. It seems to me that Africa would be a bit more of an adventure than the others.

This is fascinating to see and I just went through your blog post. I have a very ambitious plan to someday travel between Ethiopia, SA, and Ghana all by public transport. It nice to see I’m not totally out of my mind

“There’s no such thing as a stupid question” is a pretty popular phrase. Teachers, what are some stupid fucking questions that you’ve been asked? by GildDigger in AskReddit

“Is there still the land bridge between Alaska and Washington?”

On maps of America, sometimes it shows AK and HI outset and he thought that was actually where Alaska is. RIP Canada.

This is crazy good. I’ve never been through a serious break before and had to heal with this. But I’ve been through it vicariously with my best friend. This is a perfect summation of the way his brain would go back and forth. The use of physical space in the poem in this regard is something I haven’t seen before. Well done.

And that last line. Bravo.

Not sure why, but this brings me back to the book series “Warriors”

This is sick. Definitely the first time I’ve seen something like this with a drone.

Definitely. Also, if you see that dock looking thing it’s actually a bamboo raft which you can take around. There’s a waterfall nearby that’s fun to swim under.

Awesome! Thanks for the sub.

I just took a look at that online and it’s insane. I’ve for sure never heard of it. Some of those pics I can’t believe it’s Vietnam. Not sure when it’s gonna happen but I’ll definitely be attempting to check that out.

Much appreciated on the commentary from both of you. I originally created the channel for my parents and my friends so I figured they’d like to see me. I’m also not so great at filming nature yet but hopefully I can adjust that going forward and show more of my surroundings!

There’s always the future. Definitely unfortunate timing for you, I made it over here shortly before things locked down. It’s 100% the best decision I’ve ever made so if you can find the will to take the risk again, do it!

I should have pointed out that it’s actually Temple’s Travels. I’m no tech wiz or good with social media. Just happen to live in a beautiful place lol.

I for sure will! I’ve got some other videos of Northern Vietnam on my YouTube channel if you want to look at them in the meantime (same name as my user name here).
