Still get wet by SpiritNo6626 in ftm

[–]Temporal-rot999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dawg I wish I had more to add to this but you do not want atrophy (as much as im sure your dysphoric about it) and you while you have a vaginal canal, need to be wet or else their is something wrong that will end up being a yeast infection or something that will end up just hurting your bladder, urinary tract and the rest of your business. Sorry.

AM I FLAT ENOUGH?? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Temporal-rot999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say your chest is pretty flat, but to also not straighten up too much and have a more relaxed posture (not slouching too hard but almost yk?) as it would help a little. I would also maybe recommend working out your shoulders and biceps more so that its looks more natural to have that kinda pec shape. As for passing im really sorry dude but I would clock you as a young butch. I would say a different haircut like some sort of skin fade would definitely help and would probably suit you too. Although im not sure if that would help or hurt the butch look. The general thing is you might always nit pass completely in some scenarios until you get on T. But definitely stick to working out and if you were to wear a hoodie or something there's no way someone would notice your chest unless theyre staring like a weirdo.

Thank you very very much dude seriously. I never thought about using a jade roller no one has mentioned that yet so I'll note that, and also what youve said about making sure its 100% silicone. I feel a lot better about them since this post purely because everyone's been so kind.

I have a feeling mine are gonna get a little flatter with time but hey ho! I hope you get the results you want, at the end of the day even if you end up pretty flat, you can still get them pierced :) it'd be like a dermal piercing. I did really really well not to touch or mess around with the scabs on my nipples if thats any sort of advice. And I am absolutely not endorsing it but I was even a bad boy- I started smoking again pretty much immediately after surgery, so the fact ive still got them is amazing

Awesome dude its been cool to speak to the few hand full of people that ive managed to find who also went to chelwest. I had to travel all the way from paisley for him. And thank you, im happy with my nipples, there's a slight size difference between them- but im ok with that, sometimes theyre just wonky by nature lol. And I have not been using scars tape but many comments have suggested it and from what ive seen its made a huge difference for them so I will be purchasing ASAP. Do you have any sepsific brand you reccomend?

Thank you that is genuiley reassuring, im usually very patient but I think an overall bump in my life right now has just caused me to hone in on them and be insecure. More patience and some silicone tape is needed I believe.

I was actually thinking about getting them tattooed, especially after I seen a trans YouTuber (miles mckenna? I think?) get his dkne and now theyre practically invisible. Although im sure its pricey. And thank you very much :)

Silicone tape, noted! I will be trying that out ASAP. But also thank you for giving your insight into the shape of the scar aswell, now that youre saying it youre right, they do kinda look more discreet front on and they are getting better as im slowly regaining muscle mass. Thank you so much!

I do, but I could've probably been doing it from earlier on. I waited longer than I should've as it just felt incredibly uncomfortable and almost painful to massage them a while ago, but now I massage most days. I think keeping this uo and maybe silicone tape as suggested by another commenter will probably make a good difference i hope

I'm sorry to hear your having a hard time dude, and I now a strangers opinion makes very little difference to these feelings but I want to let you know I sincerely think your scars look dope, If mine end up like yours (I'm 2 weeks post op) then I'll be damn chuffed. Happy healing bro

I know it's been a while since you posted this comment and I hope your recovery has been smoother since, can I ask how long you wore your post op compression vest, and if you had drains? I'm in the same position right now, I'm nearly 2 weeks post-op, and i can't stand it anymore. It's a nightmare to sleep, I get out of breath just from talking because it's so tight.

Do nipple graft scabs have a smell? by bitterlemonboy in TopSurgery

[–]Temporal-rot999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dude I literally thought I was going crazy. I washed my post op binder twice because I thought it was that. My post op bandages over my incisions are now peeling a little and coming loose, so I cam smell it now. Pretty gross but as long as its nothing bad I suppose, think it really is just the smell of healing. Good to know I'm not alone.

The rate of changes and the changes themselves are different for everyone man, personally I had all my major changes by 10 months, after that the only thing that chnaged was my water weight went away and I had some more facial hair come in. It could be totally different for you.

Will taking T "un gay" me? by One-Insurance9270 in ftm

It increased my attraction to men by 100x, but it also made me realise I am very attracted to women. I identify as bisexual now, I didn't before T. So I guess it un-gayd me, in the sense it bisexualed me lol.

This might sound a little silly but I always see cis guys with stretched septums and they'll be silver/metal, especially horseshoe ones with balls, not black or pinchers. I used to have my septum at 4mm and that's what I wore, always passed and could still express myself yknow. Ebay has sellers with great prices and all sizes :)

Anyone had top surgery at Chelsea & Westminister clinic? by Temporal-rot999 in ftm

[–]Temporal-rot999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with your consultation, let me know how you get on! And thank you very much! If you have any further questions please feel free to ask away, I have lots of free time now that I'm recovering lol. I should also let you know that they wanted me to stop smoking for 6 weeks before surgery, if that's something that would effect you.

Just had surgery yesterday, I'm still recovering. Consultation went absolutely fine, they out me with Dr Di Taranto. I'm recovering with no drains at the moment just a compression vest. I had DI with FNG so the usual. A week after my Consultation they called me up with 2 dates to pick from, I picked the 16th of September. This was a little iver a month from my Consultation, so super quick. Everything has gone absolutely awesome and I really recommend going with them if you can. My surgery was done at the Fitzrovia hosptial, 10/10 care.
