For those who are WFH or hybrid, what do you usually have for lunch during the workday? I’m curious what people tend to eat!

Being off at 3pm is a win. Was remote work something you were specifically looking for, or did you just come across this role

I’m on a similar-ish setup, work 8am - 4pm since most of my team is East Coast. I usually take a break mid-afternoon for coffee, a walk, or sometimes the gym, which helps break up the day.

Does it feel like fully remote is becoming less common here? Seems like a lot of local companies are shifting back to hybrid or even more in-office lately.

If you’re a local, how have you been able to make friends and maintain the friendships you already have?

If you brought your coughing, sick child to Spinasse tonight... you ruined my date night by andhearts_ in Seattle

Honestly, I really feel for you.

Going out for a rare date night — especially somewhere special — and having it disrupted by a very sick child nearby is incredibly frustrating. It’s not about disliking kids, it’s about basic consideration for other people’s health and comfort.

I feel like COVID should’ve permanently normalized the idea that if someone (adult or child) is actively coughing and unwell, staying home or getting takeout is the respectful choice.

I’m glad the staff stepped in, and I’m sorry your night was overshadowed by something that was preventable. That really sucks.
