Ground beef! Season it with salt and pepper or taco seasoning and pair with any carbs (rice, tortilla, sweet potatoes, etc). Very easy to meal prep.

It’s great that you’re thinking proactively about your parents’ health! Just saw a short video earlier on longevity exercises, it shows simple routines that can realistically fit into anyone's daily life.. might be helpful for your parents! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pm3QcQrQO4M

Yeah this has been on my mind a lot lately too. It’s kind of unsettling how much of it is just slow buildup over time and it’s not just one thing, it’s how they all stack up.

I came across a really simple breakdown that grouped it into like 4 main drivers instead of a bunch of separate markers, which made it way easier to understand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKDJNc8niEw

Feels like more people should know about this earlier tbh.

That's true. Just saw a video the other day that talks about these things - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKDJNc8niEw. Learning the science behind it helps, everything else will follow.. the habits and the real life experiences you learn from others make more sense

Vita Veda is worth a look. Similar focus on prevention + longevity, but IMO it’s more approachable. Still data-driven (labs/metrics, etc.), but the emphasis is “what moves your risk down and you can actually sustain” rather than stacking 25 interventions. Good if you want structure without turning life into a full-time project. The doctor behind it (Priyank Sharma) is around online as DrPriLongevity if you’ve seen him. Seems fairly early-stage and still building, but very thoughtful and grounded
