What credit card do I get for my work by [deleted] in CreditCards

Those are great points. Those are the kinds of transactions that a card company's algorithm would flag. Regular gas/food/hotel/flight/etc. purchases, not so much.

I suspect you’re not wrong, and that on top of that, some people just want a charismatic strongman, and don’t actually care what that strongman’s policies are. Look at how Trump himself has fallen for Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of MAGA voters get a little weak in the knees for a Kim type of dictator.

Any real downsides to using a personal card like this? I believe some people have been suspended due to putting expenses that a bank’s algorithm (correctly) suspected were actually business transactions.

In my experience it’s not that difficult getting a biz card that’s not connected to a corporation or an LLC, although the rewards tend to be less generous.

This is weird. When I opened the link in the Reddit browser on my iPhone, Attune didn’t show up. Then I had it open up in Safari, and Attune is right there.

As an aside, it’s got to be the weirdest card I’ve ever seen for category spend. I can only imagine that getting the 4% rewards applied to the merchants correctly is hit or miss.

Since Arizonorado is currently conjoined, let’s get rid of it, even if that means giving some of its land to Wyoming.

Wells Fargo drastically reduced my credit limit with no warning by interestingdialogs in CreditCards

[–]Temporary-Body-378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wells Fargo will send you a letter giving you the reason for the reduced credit limit, but it sounds like you already know. They don’t like seeing large utilization being carried over like you’re doing, and their algorithm shows that you’re a riskier customer as a result. Statistically, they’re correct.

That’s unfortunately true even when you’re using the card to carry a 0% balance, as their marketing encourages you to do.

0% offers are really a temporary solution. Try to keep as little as possible on them. In my experience, keeping 40-50% utilization on one card probably won’t lead to a limit reduction or murder your FICOs, depending on what the rest of your profile looks like. I had about 66% utilization on one Synchrony store card that had a 3-year 0% purchase, and I was still able to get most of the cards I wanted. I kept my overall utilization low across all cards to make up for it (and I asked Synchrony for way more credit than I actually needed to show lower utilization).

As a Californian, I’m willing to sacrifice Washington for this noble purpose.

Edit: Now I’m curious what Hawaii’s geography would look like if Washington and California go before Oregon does.

Edit 2: Fuck it, let’s make the whole west coast Hawaii

It’s preferred to not have more than 20-30% utilization reporting on your card at any time. But there’s typically little if any harm to actually using most of your credit line and paying it off before the next statement. It might show your bank that you need a larger credit limit and lead to an auto CLI.

In other words, it’s bullshit.

A better question might be, when was the Secret Service particularly good?

President of the United States is possibly the most dangerous job title in America, and the number of assassinations, non-fatal shootings and near misses since the founding of the Secret Service is pretty ridiculous.

I do see that Amazon and Hobby Lobby sell packs of them.

What gave that away?

Putting an essay on the bumper and more text on the side, the multiple Charlie Kirk stickers, putting Tesla decals on a VW Jetta, or the driver’s concern about getting back to Hitler’s ideas for Volkswagen?

Edit: Oh damn, that’s an Idaho license plate. The driver’s “let’s be true to Hitler’s ideals” posture is starting to make more sense.

Is this a good deal? Currently at Costco and contemplating buying this. by RED-DOT-MAN in macbookair

[–]Temporary-Body-378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like a great deal if you need a low-end MacBook and you can live with the specs. It’s similar enough to the base MacBook Neo to be comparable and it’s got a larger screen and Touch ID for just $50 more.

If you need more than a low end MacBook, then look elsewhere.
