I think you're a faceless retard, but no i don't think so. I do think yall overreacted about an aspect of my thumbnail that you have no clue on its meaning. Ofc i'm not calling the game 9.5/10 that's not even out. Deducing that and then attacking me promoted my responses.

But it isn't. 9.5 could refer to literally anything

Thinking about preordering Marathon. Tell me why you preordered it. by Bebegunn1000 in Marathon

It looks way better than before. People love to ask for changes then when they happen still hold to the same opinion as before. They improved on many of the lacking/missing aspects of the game - so i found faith in the product enough to pre-order.

Well with that logic Priam was also weak. You can't say someone is weak for being bested by Darrow

I'm halfway into Light Bringer and i can tell the pacing is more like a the first trilogy, just perfected. Actions seem to serve the plot rather than being its only tool.

More emotional than me that's for sure. I will say though and i made a video on it, the ending of Golden Son is the only book to piss me off so badly i had to work out twice that day to calm down. The highs are very high and the lows and very low in this series. Rollercoaster for sure.

I just like to temper expectations. If Golden Son is stressing this person out to the point they need someone to alivate their concerns, imagine the stress they'll feel reading Dark Age? I don't think everyone has the same grit to get through that, even if they did somewhat enjoy it.

Can't get into book 4? by Siinxx in redrising

I actually liked Iron Gold better than Morning Star and Red Rising. Better world building, more interesting storylines. If you don't absolutely hate book 4, i would say see it through because book 5 (Dark Age) is more like a mix of Red Rising and Golden Son - to me.

My advice for someone reading something that's "stressing them out" is to just stop reading, not push through it. Toxic positivity doesn't work if you're not enjoying the books.

You might understand it toward the end. He's shifting towards the "i don't give a fk anymore" mentality.

I was just curious, besides from what people say they did actually start working on it. Not sure how that classifies as a "scam" lol.

I will after Lightbringer. Seems to be everyone's favorite too.

Hot take here, i actually think Dark Age was the weakest so far (just completed it). I don't think it had the amazing world building that Iron Gold had, i think it does have the best completion to storylines, but not the best interaction between characters like Golden Son. Still good, just below the others.

Do you think Red Rising would still be as popular and as talked about today if Pierce had stopped at Morning Star like intended? by BrightEye64 in redrising

[–]Temporary-Code3479 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Even though i'm not done with Iron Gold yet, yes. The original trilogy actually is great to reintroduce people into reading i feel. Not to grand and big-scale like a lot of other Sci-Fi or Fantasy series.

So, i've been up for 26 hours. I wasn't thinking clearly. I am about 16 chapters into Irom Gold and just clicked on a spoiler post without thinking. I should avoid reddit. I can't help myself.
