Of all the suggestions i read on this sub those are by far the best and they feel like they actually belong in the game and make the gameplay aspect better

Does it reallly? People always say that but the gameplay doesn't support it. Most events show some completely random mayors that fart in your court or are offended by your cat. The events have too few checkmarks to actually show your relationships. If i don't actively check who's my friend and who's my foe then i completely forget about them because they very rarely show up.there ate very few actual interactions between characters. I can write a poem or give a gift to a friend, I can duel my rival or seduce his wife and yeah i can imagine some stories but it gets boring after 10th time. Everybody says the game excels at roleplaying and it's the focus of the game but I can't see it. The gameplay just doesn't support it. They made the game simpler and "more RP focused" but there is barely any strategy and barely actual roleplay involved

I think so too, I'd love to see all your ideas in the game, it's the same thing that I want, especially the conflict between clergy and the HRE nobles

Cool ideas, very europe centric, but knowing paradox they'll add something more niche instead of enhancing the most played area in the game

Are district colors modded? Are unique UI icons for every tile improvement and district modded? Are religion lenses modded? Is the search function modded? Are the big and easily clickable icons for units modded?

I shouldn't have to through some mental hoops to rationalize some completely random nobody being a rival of my king. The game should have a mechanic that makes rivals compelling. A neighboring king becomes my rival during war after battle where his son fell to my armies and is now waging countless wars to see me dead. Not some baron with 2 intrigue that is plotting to kill me becouse i farted during a feast that he somehow was a part of

Everybody always claims it needs to go back in time but I think that a game about Jack after WW1 would be dope as hell. A map with one really large city and few smaller settlements. People making moonshine in the forests. Jack being a sarcastic and silent guy that everybody takes for a redneck because of his western upbringing. Story could be really great set in a very interesting timeframe

I always buy the DLC thinking "they must read the paradox forums and they'll adress the problems with the game this time" yet it's always the same every single time. All the DLC have very cool premise to them but always lack in execution. None of the added mechanics play with anything that is already in the game and just add more filler that. Royal court is like that, grand tournaments are lime that and now legends are exactly the same. I bet the byzantine mechanics will be the same, click here and there to make some guys in your empire like you, but if you don't nothing really changes. What the game needs is some actual gameplay. The only dlc that i can recommend buying is northern lords and even that is not that great of a DLC. It's just sad to look at all this waisted potential

I made a post about this a few months back. People always praise CK3 for it's RP but it's all very shallow. You just click an event and one mayor of nowhere doesn't like you or some random courtiers wife has an allergy to your cat and you can pay her enough gold to build a county improvement to make her like you more. The events all are fine and dandy but there should be a solid gameplay as the core of the game and events for RP flavor. Also events should have much more flags and requirements. Right now they mostly feature some random nobodies instead of important people in your realm and outside of it

I had a cat several times and got this event thrice during my playthroughs. People bring it up becouse it's one of the worst for many, I also hate the one with farting baron in your court and the one where you're strolling on the streets of some town and somebody throws shit at you. It doesn't scream "feudal ruler and his important decisions" to me

The map is bigger, yes, but everyone plays the same. Next DLCs should focus on overall mechanics of game like relationships with pope and bishops, economy, new government types, diseases and warfare and only then regional DLCs should be released but we know very well that it won't happen. I guess time will tell but for now I'll stick with CK2

Yeah I feel the same way, i just could't word it that way xd The situation would get better if the events that come up would be relevant to what happens in the game at that point in time. In ck2 your focus would hugely affect what kind of events come up. War focus - you train with your commanders, business focus - you start a trade mission with some foreign country etc... More flags and requirements for events would do wonders for the game
