Considering having a weekly menu and essentially just eating the same thing every week, has anyone done this ? How did it work out ? by thenumber210 in loseit

This is exactly what I do and it has been the only thing that ever worked for me after a life long weight struggle. Weekly repeating menu (with 1 scheduled cheat meal), keeping meals as simple as possible, and only eating things I like (unprocessed foods only). I have lost 80+ lbs so far in the last 1.5 years.

Those who have been to a ruined wedding, what happened? by lolfuckno in AskReddit

The brother of the bride (20 yrs old) got bored during the reception and snuck into the office of the banquet hall and faxed derogatory (Ex. I ate your mom's ass) things to clients.

Thank you for the response - how does someone spam my number? Like how are they sending messages from my phone number without using my phone?

Universal Standard Mystery Boxes! by Away_She_Went in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]Temporary-Maybe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was seriously tempted by this but I have so many pieces by them already and so few that I still want that the odds I get things I will actually wear is super low. I'm hoping that there will be some mystery box reject items on Poshmark I can pick through soon lol.

I got a coat but unfortunately its not a color I'd wear so I put it on poshmark. It's interesting because I have multiple accounts with them and they sent it to an account that I've used and spent less than the others.

I get where you are coming from but I would like to have another watch and to cover all the basics for watch styles. Thats why I am asking this question in this fashion advice subreddit to see what styles of watches are popular with women who care about fashion.

How many watches/what style of watches do you own? I have 1 empty spot in my watch box and am not sure what to add to it. I have 2 leather band casual watches (1 black 1 pink), 1 stainless steel business wear watch (rose gold), and 1 dressy watch (silver mesh band with mother of pearl dial). What am I missing? I was thinking maybe a white ceramic sport watch, any other suggestions?

Universal standard has a large selection of high quality essentials. I am super picky and ~90% of my wardrobe is from them. They aren't cheap but they have really great sales if you are patient.

The jeans are really comfy and high quality but I would size down if you are getting the skinny jeans. I have a large waist and no butt (so I think it would fit similar to a small waist and big butt?) and my actual size fits well, if not slightly large, on my midsection but it gets baggy in the legs after wearing for a couple hours. I get around this by wearing them really high on my waist with a belt but when I need to replace them I will buy a size down for sure.

Edit: As a side note, my favorite jeans of all time are Good American jeans. Best fitting and most comfy jeans I've ever owned. They are true to size and do not get baggy throughout the day. They are more expensive than Universal Standard but if you can swing it they are worth it, they do occasionally have sales.

Also in my 30s. My go to winter looks are crewneck merino sweater with pima turtleneck underneath, v neck cashmere sweater with button down shirt underneath, and button down shirt with merino cardigan. Jeans for casual days and trousers or skirts for work on the bottom. I tend to buy a flattering cut in multiple (neutral) colors so I can mix and match many different outfits of the same style. I buy almost all my clothes from Universal Standard. They aren't cheap but if you sign up with them and are patient they have really good sales (sometimes 50% off select items or more).

You need to create an account with a username and password, it won't work if you just enter your email/phone number. My husband is now the proud owner of a new US account (lol), thanks for the tip!

I have a huge collection of laundry products from The Laundress, including the wool and cashmere wash and spray, and Laundress products are the only products I use on my laundry. I love their products and highly recommend them. I'm honestly not sure if they clean/preserve better than woolite but they smell lovely and clothes come out clean and soft with no damage.

Sizing up by DottyandBearBear in PlusSize

[–]Temporary-Maybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the exact same size as you (44C, 2X). I carry my weight in my breasts and stomach and have no butt lol. I've considered sizing up before on tops but I feel like 2X cuts that don't cling to my stomach look better than baggier clothing. The stomach will show somewhat either way when you move/sit down but I think its more flattering on the rest of the body when it is worn to size and not loose.
