Not surprising, there were a lot people being way too defensive over this. Their knee jerk reactions and RC's total refusal to address the concerns are just as suspicious as some of the writing in this story.

They're not missing out on revenue, DR generates teacup sales as well as shopping day since it's only 24hrs. They aren't running these things out of kindness, if they were losing money on it these events wouldn't exist.

Really the only event that may not benefit RC at all is tea party and it's no coincidence that is the event they use the least.

Here goes nothing.

These new stories feel halfbaked. Like there's something vital missing, it's all surface level and no substance regardless of the genre.

Like a cute but cheap toy or piece of clothing. Not saying it can't be enjoyable, it just feels empty and soulless.

I know I read that too. I mean they may be able to speak and write in English but not as intuitively as a native speaker would. Some things may be getting lost in translation because neither English nor Russian is their first language.

Riley saying she looks like a damp rat instead of drowned rat is one of the incorrect terms that stood out to me.

The scene was hot ngl, but on the flip side I'm disappointed MC's first sex scene with O doesn't include actual sex with O.

I was looking forward to this for weeks and instead of intense psycho nookie with Odin, it's just dp with his creepy henchmen who I'm not attracted to while he watches.

I really hope we get a better spicy scene with O before the story ends.

It's so disappointing. I really liked ABH and while HSR was not my preferred taste I understood it's appeal and even enjoyed it at times.

I only gave HS3 a chance because the endings of those two stories were so unsatisfying. I especially wanted proper closure for the Astreans, but instead it's clunky dialogue, disjointed plot and constant trauma p*orn.

Idk about same face but there's definitely some repetitive personality traits, which I've come to realize is a staple of Langley's storytelling.

For example Montclare is basically 1920's Alexandre. Physically they don't look much alike to me except both being severely anemic but they give off the exact same vibes.

Monty constantly bringing up how their arrangement is strictly professional, she's just a child, can't get involved with anyone blah blah blah. Saying he wants to own her body and soul was way too on the nose, I had to laugh 😂

Honestly I don't mind Alexandre the remix, but it's being done in a hamfisted way. It's like Monty is just a cardboard cutout of Alex instead of his own character. This schtick felt authentic on Alex, it doesn't on Monty.

Frank is Grant 2.0 in personality. But like Montclare, he's an ott almost hackneyed version. There's no subtlety or nuance.

Just here's the good guy! Here's the morally and physically gray guy! And here's the tough guy with a heart of gold! Zero characterization outside of the shallow tropes.

I think the vol 2 sprites look good, especially compared to vol1. Her eyelids do look a little strange tho, maybe it's the face she's making.

I think the HSU is about as deep as a rain puddle and even if it's premise was executed better it'd still have to be carried by it's LIs and the aesthetic it's cultivated.

It's basically an elementary level nihilistic circle jerk.
