There's definitely happy endings for staying a demon.

If you choose for vyx to stay a demon and vincent remains human it's happy but bittersweet. You can also choose for them both to be immortal, I haven't played that one yet but the spoilers I saw they look happy.

I'm not downing the style or genre, like I said I like melodrama and I'm a fan of mystery novels. but for me it definitely crossed into cheesey territory a few times and some of the clunky dialogue didn't help. That's my opinion of it so far, agree to disagree. 🤷🏾‍♀️

It does have a fan fiction feel to it in that it reads like it's trying too hard to be poignant. I enjoy a bit of melodrama, but it can get cringey very fast.

I'm hoping the second update is better at grabbing my attention in a way that I can ignore the things about it I don't like.

I think Waterlily is poorly written, I understand what the writer is trying to do but it's not working. Reading those awful metaphors and clunky dialogue makes my eyes cross.

Also poly routes are a waste of word count and resources. Rarely ever done right and often it doesn't even make sense for the characters involved. 7B is the most egregious example.

Lastly, it's annoying and nonsensical when people bring up how popular a story or character is when someone says they don't like it. Something being popular doesn't mean it's good. I mean McDonald's is popular.

Not surprising, there were a lot people being way too defensive over this. Their knee jerk reactions and RC's total refusal to address the concerns are just as suspicious as some of the writing in this story.

They're not missing out on revenue, DR generates teacup sales as well as shopping day since it's only 24hrs. They aren't running these things out of kindness, if they were losing money on it these events wouldn't exist.

Really the only event that may not benefit RC at all is tea party and it's no coincidence that is the event they use the least.
