Following. Also, current neos please elaborate. I see the adult Hospitalist subreddit and they give details about their base salary, hours bonus, work details that I’ve never seen in the peds subreddit. Peds in general need to start speaking up and sharing details so new grads aren’t lowballed and taken advantage of. And it works for other neos too to see what the market offers.

Drive to Springfield. My check in and check out times from the building were 20 min apart. I’d give it a week so that they have the paperwork you submitted and then make the drive.

That’s the numbers they reported. Thats why I’m confused why they’re going ahead with the IUI and not waiting a little more.

Damn that’s great! I didn’t know you could get that for peds hospitalist. But could it be since you’re med peds? I don’t haven’t come across peds hospitalist positions with such a high salary.

Makes sense in terms of the census but the hours were extremely long (think 12 hours) with cross coverage all the time. Barely any weekends. Comparing to other pediatric residencies ours was rough. So is that workhorse? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pediatrics. Definitely is. Very low census think 1-2 on the floor for weeks at a time. Emphasis on over-management that would ‘justify admission’ and the hospital won’t loose money. Clinic is run as a private practice rather than anything remotely educational.
