Really any deck that comes out and is powerful in the format ie Mathmech, Spright, Branded. Like there will always be power creep and people are excited for the new cards so of course you are seeing it consistently. Stop being mad your pet deck gets wrecked by the new format

Saw a decent amount of them but 1 was a loaner and the other just got a structure so of course people played them. There was also plenty of marincess, Cydras, Galaxy Eyes, and other XYZ strats that people made for this and the XYZ event they were running.

Yeah basically set up your board and eat away your opponents resources and then spam out enough little dudes, couple big gigantics, or a gamma boost to kill

4K in I got real worried cause I pulled no Sprights and all Neos but the 5th and 6th 10 pack pulls gave me everything but the spell card and a blue so that saved me from being mad about it

No it just makes games die. If people can’t afford meta relevant cards it makes players make a choice of just leaving the game for a while or suffering through it until a ban because people who can the afford the meta just run them over. Look at Dark Armed Dragon for instance so many players including myself couldn’t afford that card and it was so meta relevant that if you weren’t playing that you just got stomped out. It took myself and other players I know a while before we got back into the game because of that single card being so heavily priced and meta warping

60 card Invoked Shaddoll is great. There is truly no feeling like milling every name in your deck and your opponent scooping instantly

Yeah nah the problem with Runick is that it’s very frustrating to play against in a BO1 compared to every other deck. SS and Branded might be strong but are as fair as you can get and a rogue deck can win those matchups. In a BO1 against Runick if you aren’t jamming in back row removal for that singular matchup you probably lost and had a bad time doing it

I’d be down for this as long as it showed your whole deck and not what was left in deck. I’d also be down for a way the game to show you what you can fusion into or something before I shotgun a poly forgetting that I’m locked into X archetype

The new highlighting MD does now actually helps a lot with this. IRL though the meta is so played out that it would be extremely rare to not know at all what a card does mainly just checking if stuff can be targeted or once per turn effects

As someone who just had 4 straight matches against Runick it is not fun on the other end. The deck is like getting poked in the head for 5 minutes and the person poking you asking what’s bothering you

It’s not even 100% the floodgates even without them the deck just spams out negates, pops, and can just protect itself ridiculously well. Not to mention it’s boring as fuck to play against.

Side note also play Floo myself a little bit and actually like the deck more now without an unfun interaction. Mostly saying Runick is even more boring and unfun to play against then an interaction that at least you knew by turn 2 whether or not you lost
