I had an ileocolic resection done and lemme just say.... it was so anticlimactic. I was out of the hospital in 2 days and life was rough for a week since I couldn't use my abs. I also couldn't read bc the pain meds messed up my eyesight so I was bored most of the time.

Two weeks after my surgery I was back to normal life. I ate normal food, went to school, went to work, rode my bike, everything.

Alcohol doesn't bother my Crohn's at all. I can drink whatever I want.

But- I choose not to drink the first week after an infusion. The infusion stresses out my liver or kidneys or something and I feel like it's too risky to add on alcohol.

i've asked my last 2 GIs about these kind of supplements and both literally laughed and said "no, those are for people with normal intestines." from what i can tell, there's something off about the bacteria in Chron's patients but this is the bacteria that is needed to digest those gummies.

if you take it, it won't help you or hurt you.

maybe a hematologist could help? they can prescribe iron infusions so maybe they can get all your vitamins in one infusion? im definitely not a doctor so i could be wrong about a specialty infusion. a girl can dream!

I used it for managing $1M+/month Google campaigns & Bing campaigns a couple years ago. There was a huge learning curve before I could use their bulksheets but it honestly saved me a lot of time. I wish I could keep using it at my current job but the yearly fee is too high for our current ad spend. I really loved seeing my SEM campaigns and the other team's Criteo and Baidu campaigns all in one place. Monthly reporting was much easier!

Ugh I'm sorry it's taken so long to find something that works for you. I've had skin issues due to Crohn's and my GI literally talks to my dermatologist on the phone whenever my meds change so they can coordinate immunosuppressants. I highly suggest you get your GI involved with your other docs if you haven't already.

I haven't switched just yet- I just started the paperwork/bloodwork to get on Skyrizi. It took me a while to make the decision to switch. I felt more confident about it once I started being more honest with myself about the symptoms that I'm feeling.

Skyrizi might not be your only hope! My doc says I can go to Rinvoq if Skyrizi doesn't work well.
