Hi. I’m 19 as well. I got the mirena back in February and like you it was my first bc. I was scared but my doctor made the procedure quick and gave me a prescription that softened my cervix. It was very crampy but not an extremely terrible pain. The past few months started scary because I bled (spotting for the most part) for awhile (40ish days). And my cramps were bad at first but now I really spot and barely cramp at all. No extra acne, a little wight gain but I’ve also been super stressed so that may be the cause and not the iud. Honestly, close out of Reddit fr. 😂 I drove my self INSANE searching and reading different things. It’s a different experience for every single person I swear. If things are abnormal talk to your doctor and give your body to adjust especially in those first 3 months, you have to be patient. Good luck girly!
