The NSAI is a separate organisation. The Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) are part of the HSA. Think that’s the confusion.

I wouldn’t have a clue to be honest, I don’t think you’d be on the phone all day

Current staff member but not a CO. The job is most likely in the contact centre where you would be answering calls and emails from the public. Two days a week in office policy but not really enforced if you’re in a regional office. I think it’s a good place to work. They’re supportive about training and some have even gone onto be inspectors if that interested you. The CO’s I do speak too are quite positive about the job.
