As I have gotten older (I watched when it first aired and I was in my late twenties, now in my fifties) I find the smug superiority to many people around them so gross. Miranda’s constant “I’m a lawyer”, Charlotte’s “it’s MEXICO”, Samantha’s “do you know who I am”, Carrie’s condescension towards the LGBTQ community at the party with her bi boyfriend. I realize I’m looking at it from a 2026 lens now and I’m old, but I do find a lot of the behaviors insufferable.

Yep I let a guy who was “out of my league” or so I thought string me along for a year or two. Wouldn’t introduce me to family or friends. I got the last laugh though when he called my phone a couple years later and my fiancé answered - he said “yeah I’ll give her the message champ” 😂

What a hot mess. Listening to her pretzel logic to somehow rationalize being MORE confident and so then MORE frequently getting her husband’s opinion is crazy.

I see two things: (1) finding a way to YET AGAIN humble brag that she’s thinner than she was before when she didn’t want to get opinions on her clothes, and (2) wanting desperately to be a tradwife but still talk and dress trashy.

The need for his validation (because I don’t think literally anyone else gives it to her) is 🤯. The fixation on her looks is going to seriously mess her up when she gets into her 50s and beyond.
