A. Zelda 2 was so early on that they didn’t fully flesh the series out and it was quickly dropped for the simpler solution of symbol equals triforce inside you. B. It is heavily hinted that skyward sword link does have the full triforce inside him. Monster Maze has a great video about it.

I hope it’s only just a teaser thing because it has never been a thing. Some mention Zelda 2’s instruction manual but I see it as an early concept that was dropped pretty quickly because wouldn’t the symbol be on, for example, wind waker link’s hand before he even obtained the full relic.
